Perfect location from which to explore Rome. It's just down the street from the Termini station, maybe 5-10 minutes of a walk depending on how slow you are.
Signage was small; we almost missed it. We got there earlier than the expected check in time, so we were just hoping to drop off our bags and start exploring immediately. However, the landlady, Emily, was very nice and let us check in since our room was ready.
The room itself was a good size for two people, quite well decorated. Not much closet space but we were only there one night, so it didn't matter. Free wi-fi. Shared bathroom on the floor, which I was hesitant about, but only 3 rooms seemed to be sharing it and it was never a problem. Everything was really clean and neat. There's a little kitchenette near Emily's office area, and there was juice, milk, fruit and small snacks available to the guests. Emily provided us with a map of the city and suggested some routes and must-see spots.
The breakfast is at a cafe around the corner and is very small - a croissant and some coffee or tea. From what I understand this is fairly common for B&B's in Rome. But hey, those croissants are incredible, wouldn't turn one down if that was all I was offered!
We had a really good, if brief stay. read more
