There are quite a few trails and pathways that lead to the north side of Utah lake and I've seen people frequent them. I wouldn't recommend the pond for swimming , but it's great for some casual fishing and watching ducks swim around. There are lots of shaded bench areas as well and also areas I've seen people set up hammocks to relax. Quite easy to get to and free street parking. A nice little getaway from the hustle and bustle of Saratoga, Lehi and American Fork.

There are several trails around the lake-you can take different ones each time you visit and have a new experience. I especially like the bridges that cross the water. It's about the distance of a 5K around the entire thing, give or take, depending on if you take the main trail or a deviation. Regardless of the trail, it's all beautiful and a wonderful place to take a walk or a run.

Along the trail you see ducks, geese, and birds. There are people walking with their kids and/or dogs along the path. Along the lake, you see people kayaking or on their paddle boards, even a few fishing. It's always so peaceful to be here. The only thing I really hate are the pesky bugs! The gnats are kinda out of control and seem to have gotten significantly worse since the last time I was here. I really hope they can get this under control! This went from being my favorite trail to my not-so-favorite anymore...

I look not far off into the distance and see another park (Amphitheater Park). Within its 8 acres, Quarry Bend has a little something for everyone: ball fields, walking areas, a nice play-set for the kids, picnic tables a reservable pavilion, an amazing view of the Wasatch Mountains, and spectator seating. I have recently seen a lot of local parks' softball/baseball fields, and QB's two are of the highest quality in grass, dirt, and bases. While I haven't been there at night, the pictures that I've seen great light coverage. My only knock is its got a Walmart right next to it ... as well as a housing development. And it's close enough to the Quarry Bend shopping center, you never fully feel in the tranquility of a park. Still, a lovely place worthy of your company.

Shop seems cool sometimes good sale but the service side is horrible…read more Had my ss1 serviced the week before a Caribbean trip. It failed at depth. Then they took three weeks to service it again and acted like they did me a favor not charging me lol. Not like I was left stranded in Roatan without and octo/inflator or anything. THEN Book a DRYSUIT course and they change the dates 3 times the week of and then come at me salty when I couldn't make the final last minute date change. Then they didn't even refund me hahaha. Literally their trips are insanely overpriced btw. The attitude they gave me because THEY couldn't get their DRYSUIT instructor to stick to one date was laughable. I work in a business where it's not so easy to just keep changing and am shocked they stay in business treating people this way. Go anywhere else.
