The Trona Airport is a small single runway public airport that is located near the town of Trona, California. The airport was established during World War II
Owned by the United States Department of the Interior, it does not have an IACO designation but does have an FAA designation of L72. Its lone runway 17/35 is just under 6000 feet. According to the FAA it averages around 86 aircraft operations a week.
The airport is noteworthy for being featured in the music video "Breathless" by the Corrs in 2000.
