Such an excellent experience! Travis and Miguel were just awesome!! After our original tattoo artist fell through and never showed up for our appointment, we were scrambling to find someone open the day after Christmas who would do walk ins. Luckily, Tron City was available and got us in quickly. They catered well to both of us. Me, a tattoo virgin who was totally scared, and my brother, who has had many tattoo before and was well experienced. Miguel was very kind and kept me calm and walked me through every step. Travis was thoughtful and really kept in mind my brothers other tattoos on his arm so the style didn't clash too much. I couldn't be happier with the process and the outcome. The vibe was nice and our frogs are so cute!! Thank you again. read more

I had Travis give me a small, all black ink tattoo on my right forearm. It faded quickly within a year. I went back in to have it touched up and was told it was somehow my fault for not coming back to get it fixed sooner. Just do it right the first time. It was a really simple, single-color tattoo. read more

Came in for a tattoo, didn't really know what i wanted to get. The whole staff was so kind and friendly! They gave me the best artistic advice they could for where a piece would look best, what things to keep in mind, AND listened to what i really wanted out of it! love everyone there. 6 stars if i could! read more

I came in with my husband and best friend, and the three of us all got tattooed together. Lacey was my tattooer, and she was amazing! Not only is she super talented and creative, but she was so much fun to talk to that I felt like I was sitting in a close friend's house hanging out instead of at a shop getting my skin stuck with needles! She was accommodating and intuitive: the design she came up with was better than I'd imagined it. And the resulting tattoo is so crisp and vibrant; exactly what I wanted. Thanks Tron City! I'm sure we'll be back! read more

The only reason I'm giving this shop a one star is because the overall art I left with wasn't bad. I did however leave with something that Travis inked me with under an assumption. I came in to get a quick flash tattoo with my little sister, I let her pick some art out of one of the shop books. When I looked at the art what I saw was bold black lines and some shading and that is what I expected to leave with, plus one small spot of color that I asked to be added. When everything was said and done, I looked at it in the mirror, and all of the negative space I expected to be left blank had a brownish tint to it, I looked at it in surprise and asked him if it was color, he responded yes. This isn't my first tattoo, I know the process, lines shading color, this isn't an intricate tattoo either, just a quick flash. When I've gotten tattoos previously the artist briefed me on everything they were going to do, this coloring was definitely something I should have been asked about. When I went to pay I called him out on the color, he said he did it under an "assumption" I was pissed. Lol and when I told him I was "only" going to give him a ten dollar tip (Im too nice)...He looked physically & mentally confused. Moral of the story, you can find more responsible artists, that would never make assumptions, and the only people in this world you should judge based on appearance are tattoo artists. read more

Amazing guys, great line work, clean shop, and fair prices. Casey is now my Portland guy!

I came in after a Bruce Campbell book signing to get his signature tattooed on me. The staff was great! They got me in right away and were very personable. As someone that has bad anxiety, Abraham was very calming. I have many tattoos but I always psych myself out before it. The girl up front was great, and he was as well in keeping my nerves in check. He was very light handed and did a great job! I would absolutley recommend going to this shop! read more

I absolutely love Tron City and the Staff. I without hesitation recommend Travis to anyone who comments on how they like my tattoos. In fact, every person i've sent there raves about their new awesome piece of work, or new piercing. Travis did my first tattoo when i turned 18; 5 years later he's the only one i will let tattoo me. With that being said, i've had a couple small tattoos done elsewhere(by friends or during a spontaneous tattoo adventure) but i always come back. YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET and Travis is well worth it. Tron City is clean, professional, and most important - AWESOME!!!! ***Most people don't realize, you should TIP YOUR ARTISTS!!!! My husband and I decided to get our wedding bands tattooed on for our 16th wedding anniversary. After a bit of research I chose Tron City Tattoo. They were awesome, first we scheduled a consultation so we understood how finger tattoos are different from other parts of the body. This helped us refine what design we chose. Travis so super helpful and recommended we get a second tattoo each as they have an $80 shop minimum and he didn't want to charge us $80 each for a wedding band. Well that was the best part. My husband and I have both been wanting new tattoos for a while and this was the perfect opportunity. Travis was our soul mate in terms of tattoos. He actually already had on his body the tattoo I wanted (Black Flag bars logo) and the one my husband wanted (little girl zombie from Night of the Living Dead). How amazing is that?!?!? The procedure itself was faster than expected and after having two babies with no pain meds, hurt less than I anticipated. Both my husband and I love, love, love our tattoos and are already planning our next ones. Thanks Travis! read more

I just got a cover up done by Travis at Tron City and was very impressed with the work. Cover up work is a different challenge, and I went in to the studio for my consultation with several ideas, most of which Travis was very honest about not being able to do as a cover up. He picked my brain and asked me a ton of questions to try and come up with a design that would work with my existing tattoo and that I would like. I loved the design he came up with! The shop was clean and organized and everyone was very professional. Travis did great work, was very fairly priced, and I left very happy with the tattoo I got. I will absolutely be a repeat customer! read more

I absolutely LOVE Tron City! The shop is very clean and the staff is so nice. I got my first Tattoo here and my artist (Jason) made me feel so comfortable. I showed him a picture of what I want and he came up with a design that fit me but still got the just of what I wanted from the pic I had shown him. He also stenciled it on a couple times because I didn't like the placement and he was genuinely nice about it. The price was great as well. I got a sparrow and a scripture, it only cost me $50! Went to yelp to help me find a tattoo shop, as I decided to get my first tattoo. After reading other's review of this place, I made the trip to Tron City to check it out. The shop was nice, clean, and the people working were friendly. I made my appointment with Tonie. She was great and she did a great job! She made me feel completely at ease, as I was nervous as a first timer. Price was reasonable. I left with an all around great experience and an awesome tattoo. Both my mom and I got tattoos at Tron City recently and we are both beyond happy with the art and the experience. Travis, who designed both of ours, is as professional as it gets. He helped us decide on the details of our tattoos and explained everything completely without ever being condescending or dismissive. He assuaged my mom's nerves (she got her first tattoo at age 60!) and made her feel really comfortable. Mine was my fourth tattoo, and it was by far my best experience so far. Travis really listened to us and made designs that we both absolutely love. The shop is exceptionally clean and everyone who works there was extremely professional and helpful. So far, both are healing really well. I will recommend Tron City to everyone I know. As others have mentioned here, remember to TIP YOUR ARTIST! read more
