Same day! It was a 30 min consult but the Attorney wanted to see paperwork first. He asked that I upload the documents into their client portal and to call him back. He even gave me his number. That was definitely cool. We talked for 12 minutes so he said I could call him back with no extra charge. At this moment I LOVE this lawyer. The following week I did as I was told and uploaded the documents so he could see. I texted instead of called him so that he'd know the documents were there. I called his office also to tell his staff I needed a call back, I didn't want him to miss my text. I got deployed for the inauguration and hadn't heard from the office or him. My answer was due on the following Monday and I desperately called his office back. He finally called. I had interviewed 3 attorneys and although I did like the other attorneys, my intention was to hire this one because I liked his confidence. My perception of him changed on our final call. I guess he thought I didn't want to pay him, he kept alluding that I wanted him to do work and he wasn't retained. Although true, I never had an opportunity to retain him because his staff nor him ever called me. And I had a text to prove I asked him for a call back. He didn't want to acknowledge that his office dropped the ball. Or take responsibility. That was a turn off. I definitely see how some reviews perceive him as rude. He's just very direct. Definitely my fault for not going else where after the first week of not getting a call back. But since I never got the full 30 min paid consult and he asked that I call him back,I did that. Overall, I will say, he's busy. He definitely doesn't remember what your conversation was. He is forthcoming about not being a family law attorney. He actually did offer to take my case the day of and worked out a sweet arrangement but luckily for me the case had been closed. His first Impression is perfect! Ending kinda harsh. I put my faith in this firm, they lied, and only cared about money, they do not care about there clients. If I could leave zero stars on this review I would. My initial contact with the attorney was free, he assured that I had a case and that if I made my payment right away they would start on the case immediately. After I made payment I was assigned to a callous attorney who had no people skills. She shared that our case was a long shot. I asked why that was not mentioned in my initial call and she said she didn't know but payment had already been processed no refunds. I was already 5K in so decided to continue. I had anxiety for months due to working with them. Crying daily as I always had to reach out for updates. I expected them to be experts in their trade and this was not the case.
