If you don't like negotiating the underground garage at Dix30, I'd recommend parking here or at Walmart and walking over to the mall like shopping areas assuming the weather is fine. I did manage to find a cool packable backpack for traveling ($17) and a Herschel brand eye mask (for sleeping) for a mere $6. However, there was absolutely nothing in the home goods section that interested me and nothing in the women's clothing section that interested me. I am always hunting at Marshall's for nice dresses for work by brands like Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger. They had nothing here except for a couple Anne Klein dresses that were too casual for work. I also was put off by the number of small children running around unsupervised like it was a playground. It was hard to browse some racks because children were darting back and forth. Cashier was great and the line was short to pay. I'll try checking out the store another time I am at Dix30, but this time it was just meh, I've experienced better.

But I did leave without spending anything, but the BF did. How did that happen? Well let's start. L O C A T I O N Marshalls is located right next to the Walmart and shares a VERY large parking lot. It is busy as the Walmart is super busy. But parking looked not too bad. There's also the shopping center next door where you can park underground, so you do have that option too. I N S I D E Marshalls counts how many people go in to maintain the COVID protocol at the moment. You walk in and....*angels sing* It's so clean. It's so organized. I've never seen a Marshalls so...just so organized. Every Marshalls gets different stock even in the US. So it's always a treasure hunt. I was SO tempted to get gloves here. They had so many lovely gloves and scarves and ugh. The struggle. If you're in need of winter clothing and you're in the area during the winter time, it's like a treasure trove of winter goods here. We ended up getting a soup bowl and gloves (not for me). But yeah, I didn't look through the clothes because I didn't want to end up buying things I couldn't fit into my luggage. O V E R A L L Everything was so bright and shiny and I just wanted to buy everything. Too bad we live in California. But anyways, if you're just wanting a bargain and not really searching for anything in particular and you're in Brossard or near DIX30, stop by. Just wander the aisles and perhaps find something you need that you didn't think you need or just buying something that makes you happy. Either way, treat yourself.

Bespoke-Gasms! This is absolutely the most amazing bespoke men's accessory shop I have ever…read morevisited. The store is quaint and located in a more touristy area of town in Old Montreal located near some other quality (and non-so quality stores). They carry ties, bowties, belts, watches, wallets, rings, bracelets, cufflinks, lapel pins, necklaces, underwear, and other accessories. Much of the store includes finely curated, quality brands that are often hard to find. But their crowning gem are their custom ties and bowties. They have flare, can be bold in modern, and yet are crafted from fine silks and cottons from all over the world. They'll even make something with fabric of your choosing--tailors for men's accessories! Genius. The staff was one of the tailors and super helpful and engaging. She goes on trade shows and tends to sell out everything when she goes. There are very few repeats and eat time is unique. I'll be visiting each time I'm in Montreal and likely will be sending some email requests shortly.
