How in the world has this place not been reviewed yet?…read more My son has been wanting to get a real haircut for a long time (no offense, Great Clips) and we finally tried out Famous Fadez. What an experience. The front desk person wasn't the most welcoming, but it was an early Saturday, so no shade. I made an appointment for my son before going, so he was taken care of immediately. The vibe of the shop is chill, but also upbeat and energetic, with some Latin tunes jamming at a comfortable volume. The interior design is really classy with granite floors and wood walls with gold accents. Jose took care of my son and I was surprised to learn that my son just asked him to do his thing! Barber's choice, no direction! Ultimately, after the 45min (quoted for the appointment), my son emerged with a fresh, new look and he was happy with the result. We took a chance and it paid off. I'd recommend this barber for men of all ages. Thanks, Famous Fadez!

My son's cut tool 50 minutes, I like that they take their time. I think next time we will have better communication and get the style he wants. They sell products there but do not push. I appreciate that! I believe there are two owners, formerly of Sauvage in Elgin/South Elgin. These guys care about the cuts they are doing, just be specific to get exactly what you want.
