I found Doctor Drives online who provide Trusted Companions and the testimonials from clients are stellar. I booked my ride online using the reservation system. Very easy and user friendly. Mendy was my assigned driver and she reached out two days before the surgery date to confirm everything and ensure I knew Doctor Drives was providing exactly what I needed. On the day of surgery, Mendy alerted me when she was on her way and arrived for the pickup exactly on time. Mendy was so cheerful, friendly, and welcoming. She made me feel cared for and confident that I had a true trusted companion. Mendy ensured we got to the hospital on time. Arrived a few minutes late but was not an issue. Receptionists were very nice and informative. Got in to a patient's room within 5 minutes of checking in and completing two pages of paperwork. The nurse practitioner was very thorough and took down my symptoms and history. Dr Bloom came in about 20 minutes later. He was informative, pleasant, and thorough. My only issue was I got their name off the Care Credit website as a provider who accepts this payment only to find when I got there that they don't accept it anymore. Not sure if it's their fault for not notifying Care Credit to remove them or if they did notify and Care Credit just hadn't removed them yet. Overall a good experience and if I need urgent care again I would probably use them again even though they aren't the closest to me. I feel terrible writing a bad review but people should be warned to do their research prior, not…read moreafter getting a huge bill in the mail months later. I went in because I wasn't feeing good and hoped to get a medication to relieve terrible cold symptoms. They quickly tested for covid, strep and flu which were all negative. It was then suggested that those aren't thorough enough and they could take another swab and send to their lab which would be ready the next day. I asked about cost which the provider said she wasn't sure (big surprise) but wouldn't be much and insurance should cover it anyway. First of all it was close to 3 days before I got results and was already feeling better at that point. When I called to get an update after 48 hours I was told it could take up to 72 hours. So that was the first miscommunication. The second and worst is that the lab they sent to are 3rd party...not their lab as I was told. They have no ties to the billing and just hand you off to them to bill you whatever they see fit. They ran an insane amount of completely unnecessary tests that $1214.05. Insurance does not cover these tests because they found them to be medically unnecessary, which they were. I am assuming that instead of spending the time to decide exactly what tests should have been requested based on my specific case they chose to send a free for all and have them test for everything under the sun. I had request to have the break down of the bill sent to me (not easy) and then research what each test meant and understand the codes. I won't go into too much detail on my finding except to say that 90% of the tests should not have been done and some were billed/coded to be redundant resulting in excess charges. While I find the billing practices of the lab (Phase 2 Labs) unethical, I also hold Physicians Urgent Care responsible for lack of disclosure and overall careless in their testing practices. My advice is to take the time to ask more thorough questions when they offer to send any testing off to the labs. Mainly what exactly are the tests and why they are suggesting them. Maybe that will give them pause to think that maybe each test that their patients will be charged for should be applicable to the person.

Taylor was on-time, responsive, patient and courteous as he guided me down the stairs at my apartment while on crutches. Many of these services require 24 hours notice, which makes it hard on new clients who've suffered a sudden injury. The vehicle was appropriate and clean. The RT rate was fair. The pick up was in Columbia and the doctor's office was in Spring Hill, so the bus at her facility was not able to transport her. I was able to ride with my mother, although I could also have met them at the appointment. Taylor - the driver - was very friendly and efficient and has a background as an EMT, so I was very comfortable with him. He arrived right on time to the pick-up and they allowed me to call in for the return-trip pickup since we didn't know how long the appointment would be. Taylor was wonderfully pleasant during the entire drive and pricing was very reasonable. Brenda was wonderful on the phone and called back right when she said she would. Appointments like this are so stressful and I can't say enough nice things about Taylor and Brenda - they are now my go-to wheelchair transport company!

We're very glad we took the recommendation! Located about 15-20 minutes from Nashville, this place isn't your average "urgent care". As soon as you walk in, you're met with a warm, homey kind of feel with a very friendly receptionist to help you get checked in. Instead of the typical plastic office chairs you'd see, they have comfortable lounge chairs and sofas to sit in while you wait. Everything was extremely clean and well put together. Even the patient rooms have a nice, homey touch with bathroom type sinks instead of the typical hospital sinks. Our nurse and doctor in call, Jordan, were both very friendly and helpful. We were able to get my fianceè blood work and a bunch of other tests I was surprised they could do on site. They are very upfront, honest and extremely helpful throughout. I'll definitely be going there next time I need to go to an urgent care (hopefully that's not anytime soon!)

I finally had to tell him that I graduated from Vanderbilt and this is not normal diarrhea and the cramping is not the type of pain that I am used to when I do have diarrhea. I asked if they did testing for cyclosporiasis and he said he did not know what it was. I paid 130 dollars for him to try and scoot me out of the door with some imodium before ever listening to what issues I had, what food I had eaten or anything. I had to tell him that when I had appendicitis the cramping was far worse than this but this cramping pain is definitely not something I experience regularly. He brushed it off and said I should try the health department. He wrote me a prescription for antibiotics. I won't take them until I can get tested for the parasite.
