I have been a customer for over 20 years. I called them to clean the roots out of my sewer line…read more When they showed up, the older guy argued with me that the sewer line did not need cleaned out. They did not do what I asked them to do. They were making excuses. So the first time, they did what they thought was wrong. The next week, I called them again and they argued with my mom this time. They finally agreed to do the roto rooter job. They only cleaned it out part way. I will no longer do business with them. I had to call another company to do the job correctly. I lived in my house over 20 years, I should know when my sewer line needs rotorooted. It has backed up enough times to know.

He created…read morea huge mess in the basement, got a few twigs out (which obviously didn't fix the problem), and about a week later we started having problems again. The guy at Walt's seems to be a nice enough guy. I just don't think this situation is what he's equipped for nor does he have the experience. His work lasted about 6 days. I did not call him to resolve because (1) Covid19 pandemic and I don't want someone in and out of my house every week to try again, and, (2) I didn't want to clean up another nasty basement floor. He did refund my money and I appreciate that.

I was referred to Zoom Drain by Transit and Flow for jetting and a camera inspection after a…read morebasement backup issue. The technician told me he could not get past 45 feet of line and suggested there was a collapsed pipe in my yard. I was verbally quoted a repair in the $6,000-$18,000 range. Before committing to a repair of that size, I obtained a second opinion. The second plumbing company cleared a blockage and provided video confirmation that there was no collapse or structural damage. Based on the major misdiagnosis, I requested a refund under their advertised 100% satisfaction guarantee. Communication was slow, and I was made to feel like the video proof I provided from the second company was insufficient (even though it was time stamped, dated, and I shared the invoice summary). I initially received only a partial refund. After multiple follow-ups and escalation to ownership, I was ultimately refunded in full. I'm sharing this so others (especially first time homeowners) understand the importance of getting a second opinion before approving major excavation or high-cost repairs. While the final outcome was a full refund, it required time and persistence to resolve.

Plumbing Service on 8/2/2025…read more I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the plumbing service I received from Zoom Drain on August 2, 2025. I contacted your company for three issues: 1. A clogged drain in my walk-in tub 2. A replacement for the tub's drain stopper 3. A small leak under the kitchen sink I was told there would be a $200+ service charge--regardless of whether any work was completed. That should have been my first red flag. When the technician, Eric, arrived, it quickly became clear that he did not know what he was doing. Not only did he fail to resolve any of the issues, but he also managed to make the situation worse. As for the simple task of replacing a drain stopper, I was told it would require an entirely separate visit. Seriously? This is unacceptable. I paid for a service and received nothing of value in return. There was no resolution, no professionalism, and certainly no reason to justify the cost. I trusted your company to provide reliable service, but this experience has felt like nothing short of a scam. I will be sharing my experience publicly so others can avoid the same mistake. Use this company at your own risk.
