They completely matched the orange peel texture on the existing drywall and there's no evidence that the walls/baseboards had been repaired/replaced!  The cost seemed fair and reasonable (I didn't get multiple quotes because after meeting Vincent and Anthony, I knew they'd handle the job with care). I highly recommend Joseph Stevens and Sons for your drywall and painting needs!

They sent me a link and payment was made in the same hour. I just wish I was told about this before, It would had saved a lot of confusion. Next time I will just pay the service guys cash and save an future confusion.

Unfortunately, when we began having problems with the door not closing properly and our experience with Lafferty's customer service was extremely disappointing. Because we were outside the warranty period, we were required to pay a $75 service fee just to schedule an appointment. After several follow-up calls and waiting a couple of weeks, a technician finally came out. He installed a new plunger and left. Upon returning home we discovered the door was actually worse than it had been before the service visit. It now drags on our newly installed pavers and only closes about halfway. We have followed up with Lafferty multiple times and have provided photos and video clearly showing the problem. Despite this, more than a month later, they have still refused to send someone back to inspect the issue or correct the workmanship. Our experience has been very disappointing. While the initial installation looked good, the lack of follow-up and customer service has been unacceptable. When you hire a company, you expect them to stand behind their work and make a reasonable effort to resolve problems when they arise. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not use Lafferty again. We have also shared our experience with others in our development so they can make an informed decision before hiring them.

The owner, Dave, offered to paint the concrete and ultimately took the cost of materials off the total when we opted to do an epoxy floor with another company. When there was a drainage problem, they came right back out and added a second downspout and water diverter on the roof. With each interaction, everyone we dealt with was professional and courteous. We appreciated their willingness to discuss concerns and address in a timely manner. We love our new room with the "no see it" screen! Glenn Hollis of FOUNDATION PROFESSIONALS OF FLORIDA, drove 3hrs for our appointment. Our home's…read more30foot long E wall had a lot of visible block-mortar lines and 'shadows - like looking at a map on the wall of the block shapes and mortar lines and paths- but NOT ONE CRACK. This knowledgeable and kind pro (w a solid engineering background) explained this was not a stairstep cracking situation (again, NO CRACKS). But rather the well-worn dull flat paint film was revealing what was underneath. Differing expansion and contraction rates of the three 'actors in the play' {blocks, stucco and mortar} was causing what we saw... resulting in it all being so visible (the mortar paths and block shapes). But AGAIN.. NO cracks. The solution? A properly applied high quality elastomeric paint would protect this E wall and essentially serve to bind it all together, on top of it all. We had bought the house in 2020 and it had been freshly painted but w a rather thin contractor-grade latex.. which hid these otherwise visible patterns (nothing dishonest on part of the sellers.. they just painted the house is all). Wow! Nobody out for our hard-earned $$ here,, no siree! [Another company, Stable Foundations (Ft White FL), had also been out and was recommending 6 helical piers to amount of some $11 to $13 thousand dollars. One relevant factor here (in their defense) in this glaring difference of recommendations is, I believe, experience and knowledge. But there IS the solid fact of zero cracks; just visible mortar and block patterns due to the faded thin paint film in need of updating]. Well which one would YOU trust and put your confidence in for having your best interests in 1st place?
