I went down stairs to do laundry tonight, and my entire laundry room was flooded. I recently had a…read moreprocedure on my foot and can't get my feet wet, so I started calling plumbers immediately. They were the only ones who could come out after midnight. The two men who came out were considerate, they didn't want to open one of my window screens for the pump because of how the window was installed, so they brought the pump downstairs. It did take them about two hours to come out, but given how late it was I understand that. By the time they got here the flooding had reached beyond the door frame to the laundry room. They unclogged the drain, and said there was a black mystery sludge in it that they haven't seen before, which isn't super reassuring, but it's working now. They did not help get rid of the standing water in the basement and told me to squeegee it to the drain, which I can't do because of my foot, so I'll have to find a friend to help me in the morning. All and all I'm happy. We paid in full and the invoice only shows their mileage, which is weird, it also is prompting me to pay again. On top of that the date is like 1,080 years in the future which is weird. I do wish they could have helped dry out the basement but I get why they didn't, and I wish I could have got a corrected invoice but they said they'd have their office lady call me in the morning about it, so I guess we will see how that goes and if I need to update the review

We have used Roto-Rooter of Pocatello Idaho for the past 18 years and they have never disappointed. This time it was particularly worrisome but, no worries, the Roto-Rooter crew got the job done quickly at a fail price!

It all started when our 30 year-old furnace bit the dust. We are the original owners of our house,…read moreand the furnace lasted this whole time -- 10 years over expectations!! Well, we decided to put a new Carrier furnace in since it had the same footprint. We went with Barlow's Aire Force One because we like to use our local businesses and they had been recommended to us. They did a great job!! Even though there was a bad part in the new furnace from the factory, they came out the next day and replaced it. Then when it still wouldn't work, they came out the following day as well.... That was 3 days in a row. They found a wiring problem that had been there from day 1 when the house was built!! The old style furnace had shown a problem, but we worked around it without knowing what the problem was. I was totally impressed that they were able to find the electrical problem since it was in such a hidden place. The new furnace had blown a fuse because of our old problem. With the fuse replacement and the fixed wiring, the furnace has worked now for 2 1/2 months without any problems. As part of the furnace installation, we had them put a coil in the furnace with the expectation to put air conditioning in our house. We had wired the house when it was built for air conditioning but had never completed it. This week, we had them come and complete the air conditioner installation with the compressor and connection to the new furnace. The air conditioner tested out great! During the whole process of both the furnace and the air conditioner installations, the whole team, from the owner, Wayne, to the installation crew, headed by Mark, and the secretaries were very knowledgeable and answered our questions, giving us the advice and direction we needed. They even gave us a "heads up" about price increases and we were able to "lock-in" the lower price. Thanks Aire Force One..... We felt "presidential" during the whole process.

Stay far away from Barlow's. Last August I spent 4k on a new water heater. This July I started…read morehaving problems. Thinking I had a warranty I called them. Sent hugh out, he was so busy looking at my tits and rubbing up on me, he knocked a plant off my porch, broke my plant and other ornaments. Then took the door off my water heater, said, nothing was wrong. Put door back on and left. Meanwhile, bending the crap out that. I forgot to mention that my gas bill also jumped out of nowhere, in July! But nothing is wrong. They charged me $116!!!! For what, to be sexually harassed and my property destroyed. Friday I get home late hear, the water again. Call the office several times, leave messages. Following Monday afternoon, hugh comes out again, does more, this time. Tells me that I don't have a warranty and it's $116 every time he comes out. Wait, what? I was never informed about this. And again for what? There is the consumer protection act, Barlow's was required to tell he about the fees, because I don't have a warranty,bi have the right to have any company come out. Which is exactly what would have done. Luckily I record everything, so I will fe filing complaints with the state, the BBB, and any other agencies that I can. Sexual assault is never okay, but this, this, is beyond. I guess, that grab 'em by the pussy mentality is alive and well, in Pocatello. Buyers be ware. *No I'm not fixing mistakes, takes too long to edit. I also tried to post pictures, but they wouldn't load.
