During the shipment, the piece broke and was returned to the seller to be fixed and reshipped. During this whole debacle I was in touch with the seller, who guaranteed that the piece would be fixed and sent to me. A few weeks later, I realized I had not heard from them nor had the piece arrived at its final destination. The initial transaction happened in July of 2012 and I have yet to receive the piece (which is now back on their website and selling for $1200). I have tried emailing, calling, filing claims through paypal, and claims with Better Business Bureau to no avail. They have not returned my emails or calls for over six months. To sum, they stole $800 from me and are evading all communication. Bad news.

The co-op carries the antiques of around 9 different dealers, and as a result there is a wide range of options, and a wide range of prices. One of the benefits of the co-op is that the dealers are also the rotating cashier staff so you can often haggle their prices, or have them contact off-site dealers to negotiate. If you are checking out an especially pricey piece, many dealers will even let you pay in installments. Their hours can be inconvenient, but if you can navigate the schedule it is extremely worth the effort.

Followed closely by Vintage Village Antique Mall, Aardvark Antiques, Burlington Antiques, and Timeless Treasures in Lincoln NE. All of these shops are worth stopping at and checking out! We really didn't get to Omaha NE itself, but there's always next time...! We only ran into one shop that we would not recommend. Lake Manawa Antiques in Councill Bluffs IA... Look it up. Lol

As you can tell from the name; the business focus is on architectural salvage, doors, windows, trim, fixtures from historic homes. This is a fairly decent sized building dedicated to these types of pieces. If you are looking to repurpose things for your home, this might be a good place to look. In addition to the architectural items, I saw a variety of furniture, trunks, bikes, cribs, glassware, bottles, etc - a little bit of everything quite frankly. They also have a website that you can check out their inventory. Probably worth checking out. The owners also have another antique shop just up the road from this location as well. Check out the photos and you will get a feel for the variety of merchandise that you can find. One thing I did note - is that I thought prices were a bit high.
