Quang (Trio) Le did my senior prom makeup and hair, and I can't describe in words how amazing it looks. The makeup looked very stylish and simple while accentuating my beauty and covering the acne I have, which is very hard for someone to achieve from my other makeup experiences. I really appreciate how Quang worked to compliment my makeup and dress. As for the hair, I was VERY HAPPY with it. I simply told Quang that I wanted something "up", and he turned my hair from a frizzy I combed mess to something so elegant and beautiful that I could wear to my wedding! Not only did I look amazing, but Quang was also very professional. I told him that I wanted to finish by 2:00pm, so he told me to come in at 12:00, and we ended up finishing at 1:40. For someone who finds time to be very important, it was great to know beforehand about how long my makeup and hair would take. If I would give more than 5 stars I would, but I can't... Quang le is an awesome hairstylist. We are using him on our wedding day as a hairstylist for me (bride) and my fiance. He nailed the trial for my wedding as a hairstylist. He also did our hair for our engagement photos!! He made my hairstyle look different and nice (when I mention different, I mean he didn't use the exact hairstyle that I plan to use for my wedding). He also loves what he does and I think he is very talented. I have added a few of my engagement photos where he did my hair and my fiance's hair. :) I recommend him as a hairstylist for your wedding day and to at least give him a try. I used Quang for my make-up and hair on my wedding day. I was very happy with his work. He was able to replicate an intricate hair design I selected from a magazine and I also love how he did my make-up for the day; very light and natural and I required no touch-ups in the afternoon. It looked great on photos too! I would recommend doing a trial run with Quang and taking a few photos so you know how the make-up looks on camera before your big day. Quang did my hair and makeup for my wedding in September 2015, and I could not have been happier with his services. Firstly, Quang's prices were very competitive. I had a low budget and did extensive research on local bridal stylists, and was initially concerned that perhaps there was a "catch" that I should be worried about. Luckily, there was none. Quang was very responsive, unlike many of the other stylists I contacted. He has a couple of different locations for trials, and picked one that was most convenient for me. I really appreciate that. During the trial, Quang was very patient and made a number of adjustments to the hair and makeup to find something that I liked. For the wedding (where he was early and I ran a little late), I then requested another small change to the hair, and he got it exactly the way I wanted. The hair and makeup both looked beautiful and "me", and lasted wonderfully during and after the ceremony and reception. I really appreciate how flexible and accommodating he has been throughout the process, especially when my preferences may have contradicted his professional opinion. Finally, after the wedding, I realized that I accidentally overpaid him by $100. It was really embarrassing, but I contacted him, and he refunded it to me. I feel that this was a great example of his professionalism and integrity, and spoke volumes about him as a person. I really enjoyed working with him. read more

The trial was beautiful for our engagement pictures (and withstood the crazy winds of Lands' End in SF), and the updo was even more perfect for the actual wedding day! Was extremely happy that I had found him through yelp. Actually went to Edge salon for my appointment with him because to save time, my bridesmaids, mom and I all had appointments at the same time. Wish he had done all of my bridesmaids hair, though, because he is definitely a step above the other updo stylists at Edge. I booked Quang for my wedding day. I got everything done: an intricate updo, eye lash extensions, double eyelid sticker....etc. My hair and make-up turned out great! I love how natural my make-up looked. Best of all, I didn't even need touch-up throughout my 16-hour Asian/American wedding day festivities. My eyes are not used to wearing eye lash extensions or double eyelid stickers but those stayed put into the late night hours! I talked to a few stylist before booking Quang.
