The two sisters, Jo and Sam, that run the salon are excellent hairdressers who always keep up to date with the latest trends and hair fashion. I used to go to typical barbers where they were more interested in a 'get you in, get you out' scenario to maximise their earnings for the day, but Jo always takes her time and puts the customer first. As soon as you walk through the door your coat is taken straight away and you are offered a drink. I have had quite a few different stylists cut my hair, and they have all been terrific. I normally go for a cut and colour on every visit and i am always very happy with the outcome. They take the town to sit with you and help you decide what you want done, and choose the colour that is just right for your hair. The prices are very reasonable, but its definitely not cheap. A cut and colour will set you back around £90. I am always very happy to pay that because the service is great and because i only go once every 6 weeks. It is now layered ! and the top one is only 2.5 ins long ! I felt the stylist talked too much, didn't concentrate on what she was doing.
