The people are friendly. Honestly, it is a little hit-and miss with the therapists. Layla is amazing. She has a flowing massage style and is able to be both deep and gentle/relaxing. Mia is good too. Katie is very strong, often too strong and painful for me - but has almost no "flow", often leaves the table abruptly to deal with other front desk issues (I guess?). She has even taken calls on her cell phone during our appointment! It just feels very unprofessional and jarring for a massage. And it's very hard to communicate anything to them about this because of the language barrier. I just hope to get Layla or Mia when we go.

I have been dealing with some pretty severe anxiety issues for the past year of my life. I was getting to the point where I did t really want to leave my house, or be around people. I've started acupuncture with Dr Schulte and I already am feeling so much better. A lot of the physical pressure and anxiety I was feeling has been improving significantly and rapidly. We are teaming these efforts up with some of the other treatments offered at Healing Horizons. I'm noticing that about 24 hours after each appointment I'm feeling more and more revitalized and also less stressed. Although I still deal with anxiety and depression I've been able to combat these issues with a much more positive and proactive outlook. Most noticeable is that the physical affects of the anxiety are going away, and not slowly.
