I am actually really pleased with crown. it took me a while to decide on a school for my…read morekindergartener since i didnt want a full 8 hour day. they offer a reduced schedule from 8-1:30(which to me is perfect for such small kiddos) plus they accept kids that dont meet the bday threshold of turning 5 at public schools before september 1. she initially struggled with separation anxiety but was doing awesome academically so the principal and teacher allowed her to have a further reduced schedule until she adjusted. after christmas break she was a different kid. she loved it. she loves her teacher so much. they also have a ton of fun events like fall festivals, field days, field trips and school dances. Academically I'm even more satisfied. it is march and my daughter is reading pretty fluently, knows about 500 words, is doig quadruple digit math, and has jsut grown tremendously. their curriculum seems to be pretty good(i dont have much else to compare it to but my daughter has learned tons!) they give homeowrk everyday, which i like bc they need to practice to fortify the teachings. the only complaint is i wish i was able to communicate directly with the teacher instead of leaving messages at the front office but aside from that i will be returning next year.

After switching to a public school my child is failing in almost all subjects. It has been a huge struggle to catch him up educationally, and I feel a huge sense of regret that I hadn't listened to my gut sooner. There were no signs of him struggling at Crown. Multiple reviews have stated that Crown alters theirs students grades simply for the school's own reputation. I now believe that to be true. Some of the teachers we met along the way were WONDERFUL, so I do believe this is a higher up issue and not the fault of the individual teachers, which is the only reason for 2 stars instead of 1. They are probably being instructed to do things a certain way, which is also why this school has a very high turnover rate. I noticed teachers leaving and being replaced pretty much every year. If you love your kids and care about their education, please stay away from this scam of a school. I really wish I had.

I will preface this with 0 stars!!…read more My child has attended this campus for three years and while there have been minimal issues the last two years. This year has by far been horrendous! The staff and administration present as if they thrive off parent involvement and accountability when in actuality they want the students to simply know the answers and test high, with no interaction from parents and when parents step in to seek guidance, support or clarification and attempt to hold staff and administration accountable they find any reason they can to paint the parent as the issue. Not only have I filed a police report against a teacher this year, I am now on my THIRD formal complaint with the board, have pulled my child and will be moving forward with legal steps. If you are an active, involved, and communicative parent this school will not be supportive. They focus on high score students and if your child begins to struggle in any capacity.. well it's up to your child to figure it out because 9 year olds are expected to be independent with their academic career. All while the administration allows for staff to intimidate, harass, bully, and use bias towards youth.

We have been coming to the Litchfield Park Community Center for swimming lessons for a couple…read moremonths.. This cute little preschool is right next door. They have security cameras. Everytime we walk by we can hear the little ones having fun. I like the way the teachers communicate with the children and other adults in a gentle calm manner. What I see and hear has been consistent. I love the warm and fuzzy, especially when it comes to children! In the warmer season they get to go swimming! Teachers and lifeguards are present! How cool is that. I talked to a couple parents who have little ones who attend here. A lot of them have transferred their children here from other preschools. The process is phenomenal and so is the care that the kids get.
