There were a lot of different teachers changing every couple months and it seemed like every other month there was a new director. There weren't any big problems per se, just nothing that made me think wow, this daycare is great! I think 9 months ago or so they got a new director and assistant director and things have gotten a lot better. They do spirit weeks pretty often which my daughter loves and I think is so fun! They decorate a ton for the holidays and the teachers have been much more consistent. My kid loves her teachers and loves going to school. They're even doing a family event next week with lunch and activities. Overall I'm really impressed and hope they keep the same director and assistant director because they clearly really care about running a good facility. I can tell her teachers really care about her too because they tell me about cute things she did or said during the day and talk to me about her progress in areas. They've added a lot to the classrooms too like stations for the kids to do activities and charts to mark their progress in things through the day. It doesn't feel like just the place I have to drop my kid off while I go to work anymore, it feels like another family for my daughter.

My first child child went to a daycare most of her preschool years. It was cheap, for a reason.... As much as we tried to get her ready, she struggled. Our second child started when she was 2 and is now at the top of her Kindergarten class. I honestly believe is it because of the TEAM Lisa and Erin have made. My daughter still talks about her teachers from this school and how much she misses them. I give all the credit to this school. I'm excited to see my 3rd child complete this great program. I recommend this Goddard school to anyone that want their kids to excel. Thank you Lisa and Erin for all you do!

We loved her time at the school for many reasons, including great communication and low staff turnover. In addition, during a period of major family transitions, Grow with Us was a stabilizing force in our daughter's life, providing her a place of safety and connection during a really difficult time. Since starting kindergarten, we have been consistently affirmed in our decision to send her to daycare and preschool with Grow with Us as she has been able to adapt quickly to the world of kindergarten and gets great feedback on her social-emotional skills from her teacher. Not only that, but at the first "student of the month" ceremony, three of the six kindergarteners who got awards were kids who attended our grow with us location in edmonds! They were lauded for problem solving, friendship, and even bravery! I think that is a fine testament to what an impact their time together at grow with us had.

Unfortunately all other daycares had a 1yr+ wait lists so we had no choice but to jump on the open spot here and paid to reserve the available spot. Later, we decided to visit the infant daycare room and meet the teachers before our baby started. Thank goodness we did. Every single child in the room was sick with very runny noses and coughs. When we asked what the limitations were for sick children the teachers said that they only turn children away if they have fever, are vomiting or have diarrhea. They flat out told us that we would just have to understand that there were always sick kids in the class and that our child would be getting sick. At one point, one of the more sick children spit up a good amount on the rug where all the kids were playing. The teacher barely wiped it up with a paper towel and spray allowing the other kids to play right where it was. They never wiped the spit up off the child's mouth. He put a rattle in his mouth getting spit up all over it when another child grabbed it and put it in their mouth. There was no real attempt at sanitation to avoid the spread of germs. Also the children were pretty fussy and the teachers did not seem at all confident or comfortable handling it. They seemed very overwhelmed and even frustrated. This was with only 6 children and they take up to 8 in that room. After that visit, there was no way we could imagine

Ms. Jasmine and Ms. Kellie in the downstairs Preschool classroom are kind and patient and all-around wonderful teachers. Ms. Kymm the Owner has a well-run school. I always felt like requests were addressed and there was good communication. The class sizes are also small. The Pre-K class has 12 children, and the Preschool class has 10. I had enrolled my younger Daughter at Country Dawn, and I do have a preference for Kids Way even although Country Dawn is closer to where I live. I had also enrolled my older daughter at a very reputable (and expensive) daycare in Eastlake area of Seattle. I still have preference, love, and high praise for Kids Way. The two-classroom space makes it more intimate, but the organization makes it seem like a bigger/well run school.
