He assisted me in navigating thru the mall to find his exact location. Hair is provided for natural, common colors. The staff didn't greet us warmly when we walked in and the stylist never said "hello" to us, nor was her tone friendly, as it should be when speaking with children. 2. My daughter's African- American but fluent in Spanish, she relayed to me that the stylist kept saying her hair was so short in Spanish. As though there's something negative about short hair. The entire service was $81 for a style that required no chemicals, I typically pay max $60 for this same style. On top of that, the style hasn't lasted because my daughter has natural hair that wasn't straightened out first. It seemed she wasn't trained or just didn't bother to work w/textured hair properly. What bothers me most is African-American woman have trusted Dominicans w/our beautiful hair even though many of their products, and styling methods, are not for our hair type and they don't care enough to learn our hair and work with it properly. And in some cases, they talk negatively about our hair texture, being to hard to comb or short, in Spanish, but take your money. Just because you don't like your African ancestry doesn't mean I don't love mine- I'm done, no mas!
