See him if you want to feel super pretty! As far as sanitation procedure goes: Flaunt takes it very seriously. Guests must wait outside until the stylist is ready. They get a temperature check and screening prior to entering and everyone wears a mask. Only two customers are allowed in at a time and everything is sanitized between customers. There was definitely lots of social distancing, except between you and the stylist during the session. I was also surprised by this, but I didn't have to move my mask once during the session. Justin was able to work around it.

Fancy salons for me always feel like you are paying for the fanciness of it and not for the actual service. I went to Tricho Studio for over 2 years and I was always happy. I just recently moved to Cary, NC and I can't warp myself around the fact that I won't find another Tricho in here. Tricho Studio is all you can ask from a salon. They are very reliable and they are super friendly. They go out of their way to find exactly what you want/need or to accommodate you if you need an "emergency" appointment. And also, and for me one of the most important aspects, they are family owned and local. I am always happy to support local business. And finally, their prices are just great. I can't recommend Sharon (the owner) and the rest of their ladies enough. I will be missing them for sure.

I got some pictures of what I was aiming for and yelped the highest rated hair salon near me and found 1535 Hair Salon. I saw Gerrie (Beatrice) celebrated twice so I requested her. She was able to fit me in the same day! I emphasized that I wanted the front of my hair long and the back short. Gerrie listened to me and said we would start with the back and would check in as we went to see if I wanted shorter. It was great that she was listening and would work with me! Gerrie did have quite a few interruptions as people talked to her, a popular lady. Gerrie talked nonstop and told me stories about her friends. I saw Gerrie wrapping my hair around so my Bob would be symmetrical. For the most part it was except the very front. Which I can fix later if it still bothers me. The facility is in a building that appears to have been a house at one time, but it was cozy. I had to go upstairs for my haircut. For those that may have problems with stairs, they may have rooms downstairs on the main floor. My simple man's haircut was $30 alone. Gratuity is typically 20% so by the time I got a simple haircut it cost me $36. Gratuity must be paid in cash or Venmo. You may use credit cards for the actual service. After further review of my haircut, I noticed that I had a "shelf" where it should've been tapered smoothly. I was able to fix it myself at home. I have been to a smaller barber shop in the area that cost with gratuity only $20. I will likely go back to that barber shop. I cannot attest to how well The Salon on Main performs female hairstyles.

So many other sites don't give enough information. I was able to get a weekend appointment with Michelle. She was great! Ellie was another stylist there too. They were both so helpful and friendly. This location is new and still getting all the decor together but it's clean, welcoming, and easy to find. Michelle helped me navigate my hair after not getting a cut in over 2 years. I wish I took a before shot since it was a mess before my appointment. But Michelle did a great job and listened to what I wanted. My hair looked better than I thought it could.
