We spent time trying to negotiate a price, which I agree can be a difficult thing for many parties to do. However, I was between 2 different HD's and finally made a decision to purchase the other bike (not the one he was selling) and this owner called me a "dick". Seriously, this is how you treat customers??? I'm so glad I did not buy from this place. Just imagine what the service would have been like if I had an issue with the HD. Highly recommend you avoid this place of business!!!

After them having my bike for almost 2 weeks, i talk to someone at the shop and he informs me that…read morehe has the bike running well. he does inform me that it COULD use more repair such as cleaning the carburetors and upgrading the starter, but those were not essential at the moment and it was up to me if and when i want to go into further repair. but after his minor repairs his words were, "the bike is road ready." i get the bike and its worst off than when i took it in. the battery and the starter are completely dead.. i called to inform them of this and he interrupts my every word by denying any and all claims he had made about the bike functioning properly. he proceeds by telling me im "crazy" and hanging up on me. it wasnt a huge bill so im just leaving it at that. it was a small price to pay for the knowledge i gained about the way Davis Custom handles their business.
