I was tired of groups where people just wanted to paddle and go home. Here, day trips always have a Happy Hour tailgate party where folks share snacks and stories. I've heard the camping trips are fantastic. I was afraid to sign up when my skills were new, but the instructional weekend keeps giving...people keep coaching and helping. Or, you can also be in a tandem canoe with an expert. That's how I broke into moving and whitewater adventures. Best sport I ever did...and I"ve done a lot...because this group is so professional and warm.

This place has tours groups you can go on an expedition with, or if you want just rent the kayaks and make your own adventure. I went renting the kayaks. I would say wear something comfortable, but good for the conditions as you will be out on the river for an hour or two. And don't forget your sunscreen! And if you want, bring a refreshment for the ride. Rentals are very inexpensive and totally worth it. If you like Kayaking, paddle yourself this way.

Campsite (3/5): These are a bit stacked on top of each other but our group had two next to each other so it didn't impact us too much. Ambiance (4/5): These campsites are right on the water which is absolutely stunning! You really feel like you're in nature, but there is a major road near the top campsites and even by the water you can hear road noise. There was a huge group at the top which partied into the night though we're up late anyhow and it was no issue for us. Consider earplugs if you're not like us. Bathrooms (4/5): These were relatively clean for a campground bathroom. Minus a star here because on the last day the women's room was out of order -- but I believe it was due to another guest, as a member of our party heard someone say "oh no it's not flushing!" TL;DR: Great for those late-into-the-night campers. If you stay here make sure you get a waterfront spot.

He made certain that we were fed always providing a box of Popeye chicken with biscuits giving us a bottle of water and soda and walking around the boat asking is everyone okay. Fishing buddies of America has seen a lot of members come and a lot of members go. I was very happy to be a part of a fishing trip that took place in North Carolina on a 24-hour fishing vessel where we caught lots of Vermilion snappers the size limit and the limit for two days as well as Grunt and triggerfish. It was my first experience and a great one. It's sad to say though in 2018 Mr Ernest Fernandez passed away. He does have friends of fishing buddies of America who are running their own charters as a matter of fact there is a trip on June 9th the boat is almost full will be a dedication to miss the earnest Fernandez will we will dedicate to the sea memories of mr. Fernandez. I think that is a great way to pay homage to him. We will also fish on this day in memory of mr. Fernandez for one of his favorite fish porgies. I have been on the Milford Pedal Cruise before and both are just a super fun way to get together with a group of 22 of your friends and have a great time on the water. Here are some things you'll need to know: The Pier Pressure II is Stamford's only pedal powered party boat operated on Stamford Harbor and goes out into the Long Island Sound. It's a 90 minute excursion that is perfect for corporate outings and team building, as well as office, bachelorette, family, friends and birthday celebrations. It fits 26 guests at 12 pedaling stations & benches, a bar table, coolers, has a bluetooth stereo and also a bathroom. Private Cruises begin at $749 and Public Cruises are sold by the ticket, starting at $55, and seat up to 22 passengers. Guests do tip the Captain & First Mate since they rely on it to pay their bills. Suggested tip for Private Cruises: $200-300 and $10-15 per person for Group Cruises. BYOB! Drinks - beer, wine, hard seltzers, ciders, canned cocktails and the like are suggested. Please avoid bringing glass on board. Only guests 21 years of age or older may bring or consume alcoholic beverages. Don't forget some water. Bring Ice - they do not provide ice :) Bing Snacks - keep in mind it can be breezy on the boat. Their waiting area is located at 1 Harbor Point Rd, Stamford, CT 06902 down the steps and under the blue canopy. You'll see Pedal Cruise signs along the way. Staff will let you and your group down to the boat through a locked gate when the boat is ready for boarding. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The campsites are well-spaced, and each spot comes with a picnic table. The bathrooms were well-maintained and clean, and the water temperature was warm enough for a comfortable shower. The camp also has a small store with all the essentials, and there's a Walmart and McDonald's nearby for anything you may need beyond that. They keep the area tidy, with clean trash bins and bags provided, and the trash is picked up in the morning. The only downside was the lack of night patrol. There were several loud parties making it difficult to sleep, though I understand this is more of an issue with guests not being considerate. Additionally, the site next to ours had a notably loud snorer, which made things a bit more challenging. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend Kittatinny K-Camp.

Pocono/Delaware scenery is definitely 5 stars but it is not KC achievement. We have used KC for the last 20 years every year, and firsthand witnessed how it is going downhill. On the last trip, none of the canoes had working foot rests, which is a must have if you want to row correctly and not break your back. And that is where, Daniel and Chris came to the rescue - they dove into 2 trailers and found us 4 working boats. It is a good thing that it was a mid-week and they were able to provide such personal touch. Just sad when you see a company going downhill like that.
