I just moved to Peoria last week and had my first visit to Trimity Cannabis and honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everyone there was incredibly nice and welcoming, which made the whole thing so easy and comfortable. Huge shoutout to Ore -- she was absolutely awesome! I recently received an email letting me know my past review from ~2020 is still being viewed here, so I felt it was only right to provide an updated one in 2025: In my opinion, Trinity Compassionate Care Centers was a great place to be from around 2020 to 2023. There are still some genuinely kind and passionate people working there that I love with all of my heart, and I truly valued my time with the company. That said, a lot has changed in the past couple of years - especially since Nature's Grace and Wellness (NGW) acquired Trinity. Since the acquisition, the product selection has shifted to heavily feature NGW's own brand. While that certainly has its audience, as with anything in retail, some customers may prefer a broader range of options. Back in 2023, before I left, I was told by an upper sales manager of NGW face to face that looking for a new facility was in the works. As of now, that hasn't happened - which may speak to broader organizational priorities. Additionally, NGW has expanded their business significantly, launching several new dispensary brands including Bud & Rita's, OKAY Dispensary, and at least one more - honestly, I've lost track at this point. Over the last two years, there has been decent staff turnover, and many of the operational issues still appear unresolved. According to recent reviews and what I've heard from others, medical curbside patients are still experiencing long wait times, overall long waits in store, and the University location has continued to deal with sewage issues on and off. One of the long time employees actually switched to the Glen store to work there instead. There are also still concerns about safety and cleanliness outside the University building - homeless individuals rummaging through trash, garbage, dirty diapers from time to time, chicken wings from Rumburgers all over the lot, and now even a previous Google review of needles being found in the parking lot. The staff tries to clean up outside when they are able, but they shouldn't have to. The security guards are usually on their phones and less than present. On a more personal note, I was saddened to hear that Anna, one of the kindest and longest-standing employees, was also recently let go after being told to "do what she needed to do" by her manager while having PTO with no shift coverage, and they would talk about it when she returned. I also want to mention that I've been trying to access my 401(k) since leaving at the end of 2023, but I've faced ongoing delays (I know of at least 2 other people who are dealing with similar issues). It's amazing they even offer insurance and 401(k), don't get it twisted, I am not ungrateful. However I've been bounced between PCS and NGW with no clear answer about what I'm owed... since about SEPTEMBER 2024. To make things more frustrating, I've had to amend my taxes the last two years - last year due to an incorrect W-2, with no communication that a corrected one was being sent, and again this year because a W-2 for a short-term amount (~$300) was sent out after the legal deadline, long after I'd filed and after I've been working somewhere else for a full year. I'm sharing all of this not to be negative, but to be transparent -especially for patients and employees who deserve clarity, consistency, and care. I still hope to see Trinity thrive and evolve into a place that matches the passion of the people who've built it, especially their long time employees. read more

I really liked this place and made a preorder order #448358454 it said it would be 90 plus tax which would be 112. When I got there they said it was 150 and the sale I preordered it for wasn't available anymore. I felt like I was just cheated out of 38 dollars. I'm really disappointed they didn't keep the price that was on the preorder and there was nothing they could do. I still bought it and now I just feel gross. Was really shady, and I'm not happy about it. read more

I have been a recreational premium cannabis user for over 10 years and about 15 in grow experience and I have come to find out in the medical cannabis industry is a sham here in Illinois. Let me explain these dispensaries only have a few premium flower cultivators and very limited extract suppliers one that is truly a disappointment is Grassroots cultivation and another is Nature's Grace both are not very good. Now with that said I want to comment on Trinitys return policy is a farce I tried to return a product that was contaminated or wasnt properly stored i dont know but it seemed to be what we call in the industry "poop soop" it was nasty no terp profile smelled like actual poop and it was supposed to be sugar not suace and sugar it was separating also .So with that said I believe that the medical cannabis here in Illinois is fraudulent at best cause why can't you take it back and show these people that what they are selling dose not stand up to premium cannabis flower or extract.so if you want to pay for an over priced product you can't take back or contest or return than these places are for you I wouldn't waste my money. read more
