The church focuses on the Bible, personal relationship with God, deep friendships, and doing good in the community. There's a wide age range, from young children to mature adults. It's awesome to have many other families with young children like ours. We love the new building! The building has been thoughtfully renovated and is bright, open, and inviting, with an awesome park next door. Can you imagine that? True humility and leadership which spills over into the congregation. When I visited here for the first time I felt immediately at home. And I decided stay ever since. Even though their numbers are small (less than 200) , they support mission work locally and around the world. They are welcoming and accepting, although it takes a while before feeling like one of the "in crowd". When my husband and I walked in, we were greeted by beautiful brothers and sisters of Christ. Their warm welcome and kind hearts helped make us feel very comfortable. When we closed our eyes to praise our Good Father, the beautiful band is an amazing blessing of talented brothers and sisters who contribute the harmony to our praise and worship. The Pastor has such a humble way of spreading God's Word and he truly is a brother that is blessed with honesty and integrity. We happened to be sitting in front of his wife, Dana, and she has such a beautiful soul as well. Behind an amazing Pastor is his beautiful wife. 'Then the Lord God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him." Genesis 2:18 I believe in a beautiful Christian couple that can help my husband and I walk in our journey. I love a house that unapologetically preaches the Bible and not only that, equips its members to actually live it out. When my now husband and I started dating last January, he started coming to church with me. I invited him into something that had already changed my life, and then I got to watch it change his. The leadership here is so intentional and so dedicated to people. They really see you. They call things out of you that you might even miss in yourself. Watching him get activated in his faith was so special because it was real. It was genuine growth. Because of that culture that is so beautiful here at Vive, we have both been able to step more confidently into our calling of leading the next generation. It feels like such an honor to be in a place that does not just talk about purpose but actually equips you to walk in it. If I am being honest, when I first started coming years ago, I was hesitant to fully get involved. I would show up and serve but still keep parts of myself guarded. Once I really leaned in and allowed the leadership and community to love on me, everything shifted. The last three years especially have been exponential growth in my faith. My relationship with God is deeper, more personal, and more intentional than it has ever been. And it is not just a church, it is a family. I met my closest friends here. My wedding was full of people from this house. We have been continuously blessed by the leadership and guidance we have received, not just spiritually but in our careers and personal lives. If you listened to the media you could not believe all ethnicities could be and not what the media tells you., this is the real America There was a Nigerian Priest who converted from Baptist, the congregation was largely Vietnamese , Chinese, White, Latin American, and Black of all ages. I was happy to be there and felt the presence of God, love and kindness. The choir was great too.
