This is actually just one of the call centers, they use this place for the prayer hotline and hire people to do the telethon answering calls. It looks pretty on the outside, and I found out they really did film in this location until building a new studio in Costa Mesa.
They no longer film here and none of the owners or people on television show up at this location, in fact this is only one of the buildings they use, across there street they have two more buildings that I believe they use for the prayer hotline and overflow for telemarketing. I'm not too sure, I've only done food service in this main building and heard stories from friends and the security guards.
It looks nice on the inside, painted walls and the furniture reminds me of the interior of royalty. Red carpet inside, very nice restrooms but all of the technology inside of this building looks like it's from the 80's. One of the workers I went in with joked saying it was haunted.
Some people who were, let's just say not all there mentally would show up to this place and try living at this place. There have been threats, but were all just rumors since nothing obviously ever happened so far. Several elderly individuals would show up, from the people who neglect their medication to the legit people who traveled around and asked if they could meet anybody from the show.
The police would show up often, but not because of the fans or people who don't like the station, it's because of the workers. Several telemarketers and people from the prayer hotline were caught doing and selling drugs often. I'm aware that's not the company's fault, they were known to act over the top often and it was a main reason why I would stay near the security guard.
I helped out with the food service they had for lunch when we would give everybody sub sandwiches along with drinks and all the fancy toppings they may enjoy. You could tell that most of the workers had something wrong with them, especially the people who would go out to smoke cigarettes frequently. I always get a strange feeling when I think of the place, they should probably start drug testing their employees because I don't think the Bible does that to people.
Based on how workers acted there, the dangers you may come across, I would never rate this over 1 star. I don't trust anybody there, even the people who were supervisors acted strange, couldn't sit still, asked strange questions, which made us stop going in the work area with trash bags. I didn't feel safe unless I was around the security guard.
Far as the actual show, people donating, just look up all the videos they've made about TBN. That's a whole new topic. read more
