I've always had the same dentist, and it's definitely a good way to do it. First of all, I should say that they recently renovated and for a waiting room, their waiting room is quite nice. I never have to spend much time in there, either. If I have an appointment at 11:30, I almost always get in by 11:40. This is one of the best things, I think, a health office can offer. Short waiting times. So, on to the actual treatment. They're a dentist. They do the horrible scrape-y bit, they polish your teeth, floss, and give you some nasty fluoride to stick in your mouth for a while. None of it is very fun. There's no way around that, so I'm not gonna complain about it. However, they are very thorough and keep up a constant stream of patter. Plus, they don't ask you questions while their hands are in their mouths; that can be very annoying. They're also very good for getting things done. Today I needed two teeth capped, they did it right after my cleaning. That is awesome. So, the people are friendly. They ask how I'm doing, what I've been up to. They remember me. The dentistry itself is good, they notice when things are wrong and offer good advice (more than just the token 'Floss more!'), and help you stay healthy. Plus, they have really groovy sunglasses to protect your eyes from the lights. What more could you want?

I did it purely because it was closer to my house, and came to deeply regret that decision. Dr Carr was happy to take me back and was able to help me with a potentially serious problem that the dentist at the other clinic missed. I also get my routine cleanings and check ups done here. The hygienists are great and I've never had a complaint about their work. Like most dental clinics, they will do direct billing to most insurance companies if you have coverage and bring your card with you.

The staff are so friendly, and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Stephen Creaser has a true passion/love for his job. He explains all of the steps he is taking and insured that I was completely comfortable (yay no pain!!). He also takes photos of your teeth! So at the end of your appointment you get to see (from his view) what he did, why and how! Its pretty (gross) cool! Dr. Creaser's prices are really reasonable too! Their staff are really helpful when it comes to insurance as well! I actually am looking forward to my next appointment, not really, but I definitely am more comfortable with the thought of going!!

They remember me, and are always up for small talk, sometimes hard to do since i have my mouth full. Very clean, very organized. The normal cleanings are fairly quick, and i am always told I need to floss more. I always leave with some floss and a toothbrush. I can't say it doesn't hurt from time to time, especially that damn drill! But I can't imagine any dentist not hurting from time to time. If you are in need of a dentist, i recommend anyone here!

Over the past year, however, I have learned more about my dental health from other professionals. This made me realize how poorly Herring Cove Dental and Dr. Livingstone had assessed me. When I followed up to see what happened on my initial visit a year ago, Dr. Livingstone got defensive and said because she hadn't seen me throughout my life, she could only go by what she saw on her initial intake screen and assessment. Sounds fair enough, except that other professionals could only do the same, yet they asked more questions to make better assessments and talk with me about my dental history and current health. Very few professionals will be able to follow someone their whole lives- this should never be an excuse for not asking questions to make proper assessments. I'm just thankful I continued to do my own research and was able to self-refer to a specialist. The specialist identified some pretty obvious initial issues that had never been discussed with me by Dr. Livingstone. In fact, had it not been for my questions this past appointment, they still would not have been mentioned or addressed. Again initially, I really liked this location and had no complaints. I would have happily and confidently recommended them. But after what I have learned the past month, and in the disappointing response from Dr. Livingstone, I will be looking for a different dentist to support my care plan going forward.

I chose BL rather arbitrarily - I knew I wanted a place close to my work (Dal) so I took to Google with that one very simple search term and this place was one of the first results. There were no reviews that I could find online but a bit of research seemed to show that they were nice enough, so I made an appointment, fingers crossed that my 'good vibes' were warranted. I could not be more thrilled with my choice! First of all, the office is very slick and modern and they are very high-tech. They do everything on the computer and appear to have lots of neat dental software to get the job done, which is refreshing (my last clinic was kind of stuck in the 1990's, honestly). You can book appointments online, and they will even email and text you reminders for appointments - as a busy, mobile person permanently attached to either a computer or smartphone, I really appreciate the convenience. The staff is all super nice here and really make you feel comfortable. I can't remember the name of the hygienist who did my cleaning but she was SO warm and friendly and clearly explained everything she was doing, which took a great deal of anxiety out of the process. I am really glad that my instincts were correct and my rather random choice of clinic paid off! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

"Unbelievable" orthodontic consultant…read more I have already visited seven orthodontic clinic and this is the only one that neither do any professional check(e.g. x-ray, photo) nor free. All I did here is an assistant introduced me invisalign and braces, and then a doc came and did some simple check. Then the doc said: yes we could do it. Done. No advice, no plan. I even hesitate can they really do orthodontic treatment. The most surprised me part is it charge me without any informing. I have done this consultant in seven clinic and none of them charged me(while that maybe not usual), one of them informed me before I booked the appointment(so that I could decide if I would go). For general dentist request, I don't know. But for orthodontic, definitely not.

A new dentist, a woman, told me it was time for a crown on one of my molars. She did such a terrible job, she created a large gap between my teeth...a food trap. This new dentist has now advised me that decay is now to the bone. I now have to have a very expensive procedure that involves an implant. They have coffee while you wait, which I thought was weird.. coffee breath? Not really something I want right before someone digging in my mouth, but it's a nice touch. The Hygienist is nice and knows her stuff. As for my dentist? She could be my best friend. She is amazing. So friendly and genuine in her interactions with you. She also worked with me and my dental plan so that she didn't go over. She explained what was going on with my teeth, showed me photos (which I thought was cool) during the process of filling a tooth. Gross and awesome all at the same time. She's constantly checking in while working on your teeth to make sure you're doing okay and diligent with keeping your airways clear! If you get fillings and have to wear "the raincoat" you know what I'm talking about. Her dental assistant is also a sweet heart. They are an awesome team, the whole lot of them. I can't lie, I thought the building was pretty sketchy on the outside but I would 100% recommend anyone who needs a dentist going here. I went from my past dentist, who I will keep unknown to you, to Evergreen Dental. Evergreen dental have phenomenal dentists and hygienists. They won't gouge your pockets, or neglect something that shouldn't be neglected. They are honest, trustworthy, funny, and they truly care about their clients. I've changed dentists a year ago and switched to Evergreen, I can tell you now, a year later, I made the right choice. Very nice atmosphere, TVs overhead and headphones. Not sure about the remote, can't remember that part lol. I wish you all the best at your visit or search for a new dentist and recommend Evergreen Dental as a 5 star dentist office.
