That night Shane had sent me a quote. I agreed on a price and he had Wilco come out to do the job, he was vey polite and did the job very safely and efficiently. 100% recommend Leaf It To Us. I hired them to remove two trees from my back patio in June 2026…read more They worked quickly, were very thorough, and left my patio absolutely spotless when they were done. I got quotes from a few different places and this was one of the least expensive at just over $400. During the free consult, Liam (owner) provided a lot of useful information. He also noticed a dead limb on one of the other tress on my property and offered to remove it at no extra charge. Two things to note, especially if you're a new homeowner like me and don't have a lot of experience with hiring contractors: 1. Every contractor will have different payment methods they accept and will have different expectations for when they want to be paid. Leaf It To Us accepts a variety of payment methods (cash, cheque, E-transfer, etc.) but I did have to pay the full amount up front in order to accept the contract and confirm my booking. Up front payment is fine if you can afford it and you trust the company. If you have any questions about payment or anything else in the contract, ask before you sign anything. 2. Whenever you're considering working with a small business, keep in mind that because they have fewer staff, they might be a bit slower on the uptake and if your project is delayed for any reason (usually because of bad weather or circumstances outside anyone's control), delays may be more significant. In this case I had no delays and Liam was very responsive via text and phone once we connected.

I hired Lawn Man, who had left a flyer in the mail. Was skeptical at first, after all, I was not expecting a miracle. Now, late summer, and my lawn looks truly awesome, no weeds to speak of and rich green. I am both surprised and pleased at the transformation.

Good overall service, pleasant people in their office, the job gets done.

very poor customer service and lack of responsiveness to listen to my concerns. The actual work is…read morereally of very poor quality as compared to other companies I dealt with in the past. It is also very frustrating trying to speak with someone in the company to reason with them. Basically once they secure the payment (which they took in full the day I registered), you are on your own. In the future, I'll certainly take my business elsewhere.

I submitted a request for services that they do not provide, which is partially my fault. However,…read morethey had plenty of opportunity to correct me, as I was very specific with my request. They simply accepted my payment, showed up and did basically nothing, and refused to refund me, despite the fact that no actual work was done. I feel like this is a reflection of poor customer service and ridiculously stringent policies that don't allow for refunds when they are fully merited. If my needs are ever in line with their services, I guarantee I'll take my business elsewhere.

We have an old Amur Maple in our yard and it was looking anemic last summer. This spring, before…read morethe tree leafed out, I called Pine to Palm and Chris took a sample of the branches. The sample came back with two fungal issues so the decision was to prune heavily. A quote was prepared but when the arborists got into the higher branches, they discovered much of the tree was actually dead. It is a tree in the neighbourhood of 70 - 80 years so we decided to take the tree back to bare main trunks and remove all of the canopy. This will leave us a great structure to build a treehouse for our young grandchildren. Although we lost the tree, it will be useful for a treehouse and still has a great shape to fill the corner of our yard. Great service, good value for our money, knowledgeable and willing to help us make a new plan in the loss of a tree. Thanks Chris and crew.
