I really enjoyed learning the art of mosaic in such a wonderful environment. It was relaxing and the instructors were really friendly, helpful and amazing! They included all the materials in what I paid for the workshop and offered some very nice snacks and even a glass of Mimosa! It was so worth it! I would recommend this workshop to anybody, either locals or tourists wanting to do something special here in Puerto Rico and portraying all the beauty of the Island in a beautiful piece of art. The introduction overview before we began our project was very insightful and helpful. The classroom is a wonderful space with many pieces on display, which provide a good visual understanding. The teachers' assistance during the creation of my project was most helpful. I am so glad to have the opportunity to experience this medium. So many wonderful options to explore. I am already excited about my next project - Caribbean Doors.

During our waking tour, we got invited to come inside and met Brenda who worked at the museum. She was friendly and personable and taught us the history of the museum. It was amazing to see the history of this museum and the beautiful art that was created by the locals. Did you know that this museum use to be a lawyer's house? I truly recommend visiting this museum and taking lots of pictures. The best part??It's free! They also host lots of activities for the kids and adults alike like painting classes. One of the highlights of our day for sure.
