Each and every one of the therapists here are very good. They all provide the best and we are happy with everyone we've worked with. But it wasn't until I had a conversation with Erinn that I felt a deep sense of clarity. After praying about it, I knew in my heart that OTEIM was the place we needed to invest our time, energy, and resources. From the very beginning, the staff at OTEIM--Jillian, Erinn, Mr. Alan, and every single intern and team member--showed us what it means to be truly dedicated. They are incredibly knowledgeable, but beyond that, their hearts are fully in it. The love, patience, and genuine care they show to each child is something you can't teach--it's just who they are. You can feel the difference the moment you walk in. The space is thoughtfully laid out, calming, and child-centered. And perhaps most importantly, our child felt safe, seen, and comfortable--which, as any parent knows, is everything. We felt that comfort too. It's not just therapy here--it's a full-circle support system that honors both the child and the family. We only did one week of intensive therapy, but I truly wish we could have done more. God willing, we will be able to return for additional intensives in the future. If you're considering intensive therapy, give OTEIM a try. There is so much intentionality, love, and professionalism here. They're not just doing a job

The total hands-on treatment time was extremely limited. I was placed on a heat pad for approximately 10-15 minutes, briefly instructed to perform a few movements, and then most of the remaining time was spent printing exercise sheets. There was minimal direct supervision, minimal therapeutic engagement, and little professional attention devoted to my condition. In addition, my appointment began 20-30 minutes late. After being taken to the room, I waited again without assistance for approximately 10 minutes. This reflects poor time management and lack of organization. For comparison, I previously underwent shoulder rehabilitation at California Rehabilitation for six months. Their sessions were structured, focused, and typically lasted 40-45 minutes with active therapeutic involvement. Yesterday's session did not meet that standard in any measurable way. Given the limited session time, lack of therapeutic concentration, and overall inefficiency, I do not believe continuing treatment at your facility is appropriate. Please cancel all of my upcoming appointments immediately. I would also like the General Manager to contact me directly regarding this matter. I believe there are clear concerns about quality of care, professionalism, and staff training that need to be addressed. I expect confirmation of cancellation and a follow-up call at your earliest convenience.

She was kind enough to get on a phone call with me moments later to talk through what was going on. After that, she actually drove all the way from Ladera Ranch to come do an initial evaluation for my baby. She was so kind, patient, and easy to talk to. I never felt judged or rushed. She really took her time with us, explained everything in a way that made sense, and gave me practical tools, tips, and advice, that I could start using right away. As a mom, when your baby isn't eating well, it feels scary and emotional. After the evaluation, I felt calmer, more confident, and hopeful. I'm truly so grateful for her and would absolutely recommend her to any parent needing feeding support. The greatest Mother's Day gift was meeting her and finally feeling like I had someone who understood what we were going through.

We have been seeing Jane at Nourish and Thrive since our daughter was about 6 months old, and now,…read moreas she approaches her second birthday, it's incredible to look back and see how far she's come. Our daughter has very complex medical needs, including a history of TEF repair, vocal cord dysfunction, bilateral cleft lip and palate, G-tube dependence, and several other challenges. When we first started with Jane, our daughter could barely tolerate drops of milk, struggled to recognize food, and had significant difficulty initiating a swallow. We had worked with several feeding therapists before finding Jane, without much success, and the difference in her approach was apparent early on. Jane started by patiently building our daughter's oral motor skills and gradually introducing food and liquids at a pace she could tolerate. She incorporates a variety of techniques, including taping, oral motor tools, organza cloths, and different sensory cues, always adapting her approach to our daughter's needs. What really sets Jane apart is her resourcefulness. If something isn't working, she finds another way. If our daughter isn't interested in eating during a session, Jane will pivot to other developmental or fine motor activities so the time is still productive. She never takes a one-size-fits-all approach. Beyond her clinical skills, Jane is incredibly attentive, dependable, and genuinely invested in our daughter's progress. She is always punctual, takes detailed notes, stays up to date on medical appointments, and regularly communicates with us between sessions. I frequently text her with questions or updates, and she is always gracious and responsive. She has also gone above and beyond in helping us navigate complicated insurance issues and the seemingly endless medical documentation that comes with having a medically complex child. Jane is clearly very knowledgeable and experienced, and knowing that she has trained and mentored other feeding therapists in the area speaks to her expertise. But what impresses us most is her willingness to keep learning, adapting, and collaborating as our daughter's medical needs evolve. She is also wonderful with our 3-year-old son, often including him in little ways and offering us helpful developmental tips for him as well. We continue to see Jane twice a week, and after nearly a year and a half together, she truly feels like part of our family. Her commitment to providing individualized, home-based therapy has made an enormous difference in our lives. Finding someone who combines this level of clinical competence with such genuine kindness and dedication is rare. We are incredibly grateful that our physical therapist referred us to Jane. Our daughter would not be where she is today without her, and God willing, Jane will be the last feeding therapist we ever need. We cannot recommend her highly enough, especially to families navigating complex feeding and medical challenges.

The evaluation process was easy, we did evaluations on different days and shortly after our reports were ready. We waited a few weeks after to be placed on the schedule, but to me I wanted her to be seen asap, the time and days didn't matter. They got us in quickly and eventually we worked our way to find a schedule that best fits our family and school schedule. Our child has grown so much in the last 5 years and I am thankful for the therapists we have worked with, along with their dedication and knowledge our child has truly blossomed in this clinic. Everyone on the team is friendly, and more than willing to help anytime we have questions or concerns. I also had another child attend and graduate from services within the 5 years and her experience there was also amazing and very helpful. The center itself is two stories, a big gym, a "baby" which is a smaller gym, a lot of different speech rooms, a "star" room which is a sensory room for kids to be able to use to calm down. There is a trampoline in the big gym and a kitchen for feeding!!! The center has a waiting room for parents along with a play - waiting room dedicated for siblings to use while they are waiting for their sibling. Therapists are great about having the parent be involved and are always open to suggestions that can help the child.
