Riot sells supplies such as stickers, canvas', paint brushes, textas, cardboard, glue, glitter, beads, kids activities, wooden items, stencils, scrapbooks and even classroom and teacher resources. The list goes on. Located on the second floor near Kmart, I first came here when I needed some stickers for my 21st book. There were lots which made it hard for me to decide. I ended up choosing some pretty butterflies and gold happy birthday stickers. The service was good and the staff seemed helpful when customers had questions. I'd suggest this shop to anyone who enjoys hand-making cards, painting/drawing, scrap booking, etc.

Should have stocked up on more because it seems the store regularly sells out of them! In recent times when I have gone to the store to buy more beads, I have been told by the young female store attendant that the store is out of them. On one particular Saturday, I asked this store attendant if she could please order some more in, to which she replied that this was not possible. I insisted that she write a note to the store manager to ask that this be possible and she reluctantly did so and reportedly left it on her manager's desk. To this day, I have not received a phone call from the store to tell me whether or not they were able to order some more in. If these beads are so popular and selling-out all the time, why do you not order more? In addition, due to the unhelpful nature of the staff at Riot Marion, I am unlikely to return and would rather spend my money elsewhere.

The guy who owns this shop is a lovely, polite and respectful man who listens to you and works with you to choose the best matt colours and frames. He is very gentle in the way he treats your artworks and prints. As well, he has a multitude of knowledge in the arts industry when it comes to framing and art materials. He will take the time to talk to you and answer your questions. He finishes framing orders in a good time as well. Along the South Road, I would pick this framing shop as the best one to go to. This shop is the hidden gem!

In the past, I have had cross stitches framed and/or stretched in the city, but since I now work in Somerton Park I wanted to find somewhere more local. I came here first for a quote, which they happily supplied - I had designed a cross stitch, and my customer wanted to get it framed before sending to her (if the price was right). I chose a very simple black frame with no glass (I didn't want my stitching squashed under glass!), and my customer agreed that it was an excellent price. It's always nerve-wracking when you don't know how your work is going to turn out - when I picked it up, I was completely blown away - it looked FANTASTIC!! I have since recommended this place to others, and will definitely be taking future works there too!

Roy and his wife are an absolute pleasure to do business with and their prices are the best that I have found in Adelaide. I have been trying different framers over the past 4 years and they are by far the cheapest and best. Their attention to detail is so good and quality of framing is outstanding. I have had over 100 paintings framed since 2012 and Roy has such a creative eye, that I let him match the frame and borders to suit each one. I cant praise this company enough!

All framing is done on site as the factory is out the back. The shop is full of ready made frames with matting, framed prints and also mirrors. I purchased an A3 ready to go frame for $10 a short while ago, there are various sizes and contrasting matting boards to choose from. For the home handy person or learner, you can buy the matting board and wood frames in lengths to make your own. Directly out on the South Rd frontage they usually bring out some framed prints and mirrors with signage saying for you to make an offer, so why not if you like it. If you're a bowerbird be on the look out as they often throw out stuff onto the side road on the footpath, I haven't done it but in driving past there appears to be some interesting and useful offcuts.
