Came here with a friend because she knows I like tea. They have all sorts of alternative drinks live Kava and Kratom, but I'm pretty boring and just got plain ol' iced tea. They actually had some fun blends to choose from, and the cashier was very knowledgeable and helpful with all of my questions. I ended up getting a hot tea with a side of ice, and he gave me the whole french press of tea which was awesome. For $4 I got several refills which made it a great value. The french press also allowed me to control the steeping time, and make my tea on the weaker side, which I prefer. I had already gone to a couple tea shops in the area but this made it an amazing value, and the tea was great to boot too. Not sure if they always give the french press with the tea, but it was nice to have. I'm taking off one star because the music was suuuuper loud inside, and it was hard to hear sometimes. If you don't need to chat or just want to chill, it's fine, but the music volume seemed like overkill. There is a small seating area outside with some outdoor couches, too, although they were a little awkwardly placed. read more

There is even a quaint corner with a teepee that you can sit inside with a friend, if that is your fancy. They have a wide variety of tea, kava, hot and cold coffees and the servers are super friendly and can basically whip you up your heart's desire if they have the ingredients! Don't feed into the bad reviews, some people are just uptight. This is a place frequented by a chill, easygoing crowd, mostly younger people. Referencing another review, i can see how someone on the sensitive side might feel out of place here on an open mic night full of younger ppl with different sense of humor than one might be used to be lol. If you're chill and easygoing and don't need a server up your you know what 24/7 then this is the kava bar for you. Enjoy life, laugh, and don't take things too seriously! read more

I got a Kratom here the other day and it was wonderful. A little powdery and portant compared to my usual go-tos for Kratom but in terms of taste and effects it was great! And the shop is so cute I'll have to go back to do homework or hang out with friends. read more

To start, website shows a pingpong table, yet its no longer there. Many of my fav Kava bars have ping pong tables or pool tables for something to do so this is false Advertising. 2nd, the Kava tender lady didn't even great me, I stood at bar for easily 3 solid awkward minutes waiting as she was just doing whatever on her phone, then acknowledged me. When I first walked in I was looking around for people I was meeting, she kept looking at me never once asking if I needed anything. Now if I am working a service place and see some random dude I've never seen before ( Me) That could be a shady dude, I would acknowledge that person so they are aware I am aware. Just saying, I love the kava community but some of these people think its a voluntary job and have no act as if they are getting paid. I have noticed a huge lazy side to most these places, not Chill or laid back as some would call it , but lazy and just terrible service. But honestly this place isn't terrible.
