Pros: Beautiful interior design, very sexy Excellent breakfast buffet Great bar Great outdoor pool Great location Cons: It feels a bit like they're trying too hard to be a "sex hotel".. Having traveled globally for over 20 years, I would call this a four-star hotel at best. The pros…read moreinclude the location and the lobby/pool/restaurant spaces. It's in a tourist-friendly part of town, easily walkable to restaurants and local attractions, and it has quite a lovely main entry, bar, and pool patio. But the hotel itself has major drawbacks both in service and room quality. I experienced a laissez-faire delay in my check-in (with my keys lying visible on one person's desk but no updates given to anyone else on staff, despite my repeated inquiries), which was not particularly appreciated after a long-haul journey, and the layout of my room was narrow and unpleasant. The bathroom was not a separate walled-off space but instead a glass cubicle within the main room, just feet from the bed and tight on space. Inside the bath cubicle, to achieve privacy it was necessary to close the door on the glass wall and then draw velvet curtains from both left and right. In using the shower, it was not possible to utilize the drying mat provided or reach a towel easily, as the glass door to the shower opened out toward the sink, hitting the mat and making it impossible to reach the towel hook. Drainage at the shower was also a little iffy. The toilet area involved yet another glass door, again making privacy an issue and further truncating the space, with all three glass doors opening in toward the sink. It was quite difficult to use the facilities at night without waking a partner in the room (since turning on a light in the glass-wall cubicle was not viable). The room itself had a bit of Old World charm -- a bit outdated in style and tired from wear but attractive overall despite missing basics such as larger nightstands, a clock, etc. While there are surely beautiful suites to be had at the Faena, the standard room falls short and, unfortunately, feels a bit substandard instead.

Any issues I had, I was able to reach out to someone via the app and a staff member was sent up immediately to fix the issue. The room was very spacious for two people. I will say, you might want to close the curtains during the day. It can get pretty hot in the room (even though the air conditioning is on full blast. We felt safe at the hotel as there was security at the front entrance what seemed like 24/7. The elevators are also controlled by the key cards so that was also a plus. Breakfast was great! The happy hours in the evening were great! We did not get a chance to visit the pool, but it looked big. I think it was connected with the Sheraton hotel next door. You can see it in the picture of the view from our room. I also want to give a shoutout to the staff who I encountered who went above and beyond to make sure our stay at the hotel was great (sorry in advance if I spell anyone's name incorrectly). Andrew, Roberto, Juan, Andrea, Pablo, Ramiro, Micela, and Rocio! Restaurants I would say to visit are: Fogon Asado (the Gorriti location) and try the Chef Counter experience. Also, try Floreria Atlántico!

Our room had a lot of plugs, an exention cord, safe, iron & ironing board, with a lot of closet and drawer space. Eloise lives at the Plaza & Andrea wants to live at the Park Tower! We could not have had a more perfect visit. I wish I could give the Park Tower 100 star! The hotel's location was great. We were able to walk around most of the city. We were the US equivalent of a two dollar taxi ride from most attractions. This is a safe part of Buenos Aires.  Gustavo Gallo, the concierge was so helpful, knowledgeable, and informative. Daily, he helped to plan our itinerary to get the most out of Buenos Aires. His restaurant recommendations were on point. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Andrew at breakfast treated us like rockstar. His morning iced cappuccinos were over the top.  The fresh, beautiful & varied options at the buffet were satisfying, delicious & fabulous. During the heat wave, the air conditioner wasn't performing optimal. Ava couldn't do enough to make us cool. Men Came up during the day, opened the ceiling and adjusted the vents solving the issue. Ample room with good work desk space nice tc and kitchenette lounge area with sofa bed and bathroom has small tub plus stand in shower. The staff has been great, the one from breakfast room is superb. I had made a mistake and reserved two twin beds and after one night they accommodated me into my original intent of a king size. Location is great close to coffee restaurants shopping and within walking distance is a sports club gym which is a full gym. Hotel has a small gym and pool for basics. The room was large and spotless, even had a small kitchenette if you were to stay longer. The pool and gym were perfunctory, but there was a washer and dryer on the top floor available for use. Very quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise. The advice, concierge service, and friendliness/language skills of the staff in the lobby were excellent. Close to the Palermo stop on the D subway line and Ave Santa Fe for cabs. The great restaurants and cafes of the Palermo district are all in walking distance, as are the big supermarkets and drugstores. Excellent wifi service from the room.

The shower knobs were on the opposite end from the shower head and since it had half a wall, rather than a door or curtain, the whole floor got wet. There were also no instructions for the safe or prices for services or minibar. Breakfast was disappointing--it was like breakfast for a child, primarily donuts/danishes/cookies and cereal. They are very slow at replacing items so many people were waiting around for a coffee mug or donuts. The lobby/dining area bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels for hands. And at 4pm, there were still crumbs and jam on table from breakfast. Everything was ok until the staff violated our privacy. We had a do not disturb sign but someone still came into our room to leave something on the table (a gift from our travel agent that could have easily been kept at the front desk). We complained and they said they had to come in because our phone was off the hook and was making such a loud sound that the neighbor complained. We knew that was absurd, but to experiment we left it off all night and there was not a sound. Meanwhile, we could hear doors slamming, babies crying, and women in heels walking around for hours -- it was a common morning wake up. The demographic seemed to be mostly groups of women having a girls' weekend in the city, so maybe this place just wasn't for us.

The rooms are lovely and a decent size with nice bathrooms, including a large and comfortable bath tub. Little bottles of body wash, shampoo, conditioner, were all provided. There was cleaning service each day, which was good, but I noticed that one day, there was used shampoo and conditioner sitting on the bathroom countertop, with the bathtub faucet dripping water, so that was a little unsettling. Thankfully, there was nothing missing. On the first night, I shared dinner with one of the ladies from the tour group. We had the T-bone steak, which was oh so tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Breakfast options are decent, with scrambled eggs, some meat, plenty of bread, cold cuts, fruit, alfajores (my favorite type of cookie). On the last day, I found out they also serve omelettes made to order, which were pretty tasty. The regular coffee was not good, but there is a machine that makes flavored lattes and cappuccinos, which I liked better. I also checked out the rooftop, which had a pool, as well as complimentary flavored water and fresh juices. The view of the city was simply stunning. Service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond.

The hotel and our room were decorated very nicely and the staff couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Our room was spacious and large enough for us to lay our two large bags on the floor and enough counter space to put our smaller bags. The areas for improvement would be the breakfast and there is some noise that you can hear in your room. The noise comes from within the hotel such as people walking around or the breakfast area being set up or the pipes. I am normally very sensitive to noise but it was not enough to bother me or interrupt my sleep. For breakfast, you can order anything on the menu but nothing on the menu is particularly exciting and the service could be extremely slow. The location was amazing we could walk to numerous restaurants, beer and wine places and dessert shops. Suggest trying La Mar and Osaka to name a few. Parilla Pena was excellent (further away).

It seems that everyday restaurants around the square setup seating so you can dine and enjoy the weather. There are people who will come up to you and try to sell you things, but ignore them and they will go away. The hotel also has a nicely decorated wine bar and restaurant on the lower level. It was never busy and the food and wine there was very good. And the location has cobblestone roads and there are cafes and wine shops galore! There are also an over abundance of gift shops so you can find whatever you may desire. On the negative side, the hotel room bathroom sometimes smelled of sewage (not great), the shower didn't drain well so you found yourself standing in a mini pool for your toes, and they didn't give any wash clothes. They have one sponge to bathe with, but one isn't quite enough when you have more than one person in the room with you. My wife and I love each other, but we tend not to want to share a bathing sponge! It's not quite like sharing a toothbrush but close enough! Overall, the good outweighed the bad, and it is a cool place to stay for a short trip.

The Sheraton is situated in the Retiro district and within walking distance to the train station, financial district, Presidential Palace, and pedestrian mall - Calle Florida. The Recoleta Cemetery and Modernized Wharf area is walkable but some distance away. Hotel is a bit aged, service is passable however their Bonvoy Elite line needs to be more distinct and separate from the general guest line. I waited quite awhile in the Elite line to be serviced as the general line was long and guests kept cutting into the Elite line. The reception people were too timid to tell the general guests that they were supposed to be a dedicated Elite receptionist. Rooms and hallways are in the need of a facelift while general, common areas are fairly modern. Club lounge had a variety of food choices however the Expresso machine broke down and was not repaired during our stay. The daily breakfast buffet in the Italian Restaurant had a large selection of items and omelette choices. Service quick and professional in the buffet. Very well run buffet. Overall: nice convenient location, front desk service needs refinement, club lounge and breakfast buffet are good with excellent service, felt safe and secure with visible and roaming security, while rooms need updating.
