Robert is a girl and LOVES affection. I was sitting outside the laundry room and she just jumped up in my lap. Good value for the money, we'd stay again if we ever found ourselves there again

The office is cute coffee shop boutique vibe, they make fresh coffee in there every morning so you don't have to make it in your room. Rooms are very spacious, contain microwave, mini fridge, coffee/teas. Toilet & tub in separate room from vanity which is always much nicer for getting ready. Ample parking by your unit. It's a 2-story building so not many units. There is an outdoor seating area with heaters near the back by the Chuck Wagons that you can rent as rooms. There are nighttime ranger talks, also a quick walk from the cabins. We really enjoyed the astronomy presentation. The rangers had a green laser they were able to point out different constellations. We even saw the International Space Station go overhead. The staff we interacted with was very kind.

Two chains that were just ragged and dirty around the edges. So happy July 1, 2021 to be at this hotel. It is the only place to stay in Wall. Welsh's is run by the third generation and they are solidly committed to super clean, super friendly. the room was quaint and much better designed than the two major chains. The bathroom was large, and felt just like you were at home. The whole room felt like you were in a master bedroom suite at a nice, though older home. And again, it was clean - cleaned by the owners themselves. It is near the Badlands, the good Red Rock restaurant and only a few more blocks to famous Wall Drugstore (nice history but not such a big deal).
