One of the mechanics does a little trick and pushes it and started and says hopefully you can get to the gas station. And while I'm driving, the truck is jumping because the engine light is on. They did not do a full diagnosis for this truck to be functioning. Now it's sitting in my garage not drivable. All I wanted the mechanics to do is make the truck safe and workable. They didn't complete the task. They didn't run a proper diagnosis and they delayed for weeks. I am disappointed paying all this money for it to have more work on it done.

They really could have run me through the ringer and I would have had little choice. However these guys did me right, with exceptional, & punctual service. After inspection, I was advised to do a coolant flush and replace the control arms. I agreed and paid over $4,100 upfront. They completed some work (tires were replaced), but told me they would call when the control arms arrived. They never did. Five months later, I returned to follow up. I was told the parts I had already paid for were used on another customer's car without notifying me. I rescheduled the repair, came back, and was told the control arms were replaced. The technician claimed the job was completed, test drove the car, and even showed me "old parts." I checked under the car and found the original control arms still installed (rusty and clearly not recently replaced). The parts shown to me were not from my vehicle. When I confronted them, staff acknowledged the issue and provided a written note stating I would receive a refund. Since then, I've been given repeated delays and excuses (manager not available, system issues, "machine needs a code," etc.), and no refund has been issued. I was charged for a repair that, based on my inspection, was not performed, despite being told it was completed. At this point, I have initiated a dispute with my bank and will escalate further if necessary. Double check any work done on your vehicle before leaving this shop.

FINAL UPDATE: I…read morewanted to start fresh with a new and improved review that accurately conveys my experience with Classic Mazda without putting them on a pedestal or vilifying them. Additionally this review serves as a cautionary tale for the naive customer like I was. Shawn and Vince with sales were great, and Julio in Finance was as well I still believe these individuals deserve a shout out for their phenomenal customer service. I did not experience haggling or anything of the sort like you expect at a dealership, and left happy on day 1 January 21st. I even got a coupon for a complimentary first oil change because of concerns I had about the car. However, I ran into trouble in paradise on January 27th, less than a week after purchasing the vehicle. I had an engine light on for a cylinder 4 misfire. I had not even driven the car for 300 miles at this point. Understandably I was frustrated with Classic Mazda because I felt like a thorough inspection of the vehicle should have indicated that some additional maintenance needed to be done. However the inspection only really stated that the previous oil change was failed and that the front breaks would need to be replaced soon. Long story short, another issue appeared and eventually a trusted independent mechanic was able to determine that my alternator was bad. I do not want to use accusatory language here, but I do find it weird that the dealership was in no way aware that the alternator was no good during point of sale. Maybe they weren't and I am unlucky BUT I am definitely mentioning it in this review for those that may be more educated on these matters. The big point I want to make is that when you buy a car as-is and the 5 day/300 mile warranty is up, you as the customer are responsible for any repairs that the vehicle needs. I tried to get Classic Mazda to do a good-will repair since the issue happened so soon after purchase but the most the GM could offer was a discounted diagnostic. I was naive, and now I know better and am looking to educate people who are new to buying used cars as-is. IF you buy newer cars at this dealership I imagine it's a wonderful experience for most. But if you're like me and buying from the 'Vehicles Under 15k' section please be cautious. I wasn't and I have had to already spend too much to repair the car when I have had it less than a month now. As long as you go in educated and prepared you should be fine and as a whole this dealership isn't awful like some I have heard about.

It is a local, small business owner and you can tell that he cares about his business and has a local following. You can miss this place depending on what direction you are coming from and the morning traffic near there is busy. If you have a question about your car, he can fix it and it won't cost an arm and a leg. He'll give you options that make sense. I would definitely go back and I would recommend him to my grandmother bc I know he's not trying to rip anyone off.
