We have been coming here for 2 years now and each and every time is a great experience. They have a few dentists but Dr Kim is the one we see and. he''s friendly, gentle, knowledgeable, listens to our dental concerns and takes his time explaining each procedure. Micaela is my favorite hygienist cuz she's wonderful!, never in a hurry and does a great job cleaning my teeth. Today I came to get my mouth guard fitted and Erica greeted me with a big smile and she was so friendly and caring. We are so happy to finally find a great dental office with friendly staff, reasonable prices and doesn't upsell or do unnecessary procedures. Dr. Sims has managed to put together one of the best teams I have ever seen in my 25 years of management experience. Everyone is lovely to deal with. It is obvious after visiting a few times that the employees enjoy and respect each other. Not just by helping each other out so that clients do not wait and are completely informed, but wearing a smile and attitudes that they truly enjoy their jobs. They are so cohesive and efficient. I, personally would like to recognize Lauren, Lindsey and Dr. Jenkins. They all treated me with great attitudes and seemed to really enjoy and listen to what I was talking about rather it was related to my treatment or personal. I have been extremely satisfied with my experience with this practice. As someone who does not usually like a visit to the dentist, I completely forget my purpose for being there. Some of the pluses are wi-fi, Keurig coffee, cold water and health bars. They also have plush throw blankets if you find the temperature too cold for your comfort.. In addition, my root canal and temporary crowns have worked out well and I soon will be completely pain free with beautiful, new and lasting permanent crowns. After several times requesting Schmitt dental to send in a "clinical narrative" to prove 50% of the tooth was gone to have insurance pay for this crown, I had to file a appeal to get this paid for. My wife and I decided to go to another dentist after I was told I needed 2 more crowns by Schmitt dental. The dentist we go to now said I did not need any crowns at this point and the crowns I have now are OK. This just tells me I could not trust the decision of this dental office and dentist to be truthful about any dental work or paperwork I needed in the future.

I thought it was strange that they took a form before my teeth were pulled, and were totally disregarding my gag reflex. I spent every visit gagging and choking, and they'd just say, hold your breath, or breathe deep. I had to fight with them about opening up a space so I wasn't constantly gagging when the "teeth" were in. I have moved to another state and a close friend took me to her dentist to have decent dentures made. He was appalled at what those dentures were doing to my gums and told me not to put them in even for a moment. As I'm now going through the process of getting dentures with him, I'm amazed. In a visit where he took a half hour putting things in and out of my mouth he didn't trigger my gag reflex once.
