Beware! I called this company on a Wednesday ONLY for information on pricing and contract terms for propane service. I was not sure I wanted propane and needed information on how much it would cost to purchase a tank and what the rules were on when and how to get it fully installed and refilled. "Chelsea" told me that she had no information because she had just gotten new price sheets that week and had not had time to look at them. She said they were incredibly busy and would have no time to answer even the most basic questions for at least two weeks. She got ALL my information (my mistake....don't EVER agree to give them your address) and said she would call me back with more information in two weeks.
Five days later, I received a call from a VERY authoritative man telling me I would need to go stand out in my yard because he needed to install the propane tank I had ordered (and of course, get started on the mandatory lease and billing arrangements).
I told the man that I had ordered no propane tank or service and he behaved first like I didn't know what I was talking about and then, when that didn't work, like he was just a simple country boy and it was all just "an honest mistake" and he didn't know why anyone would get upset over one little mandatory propane contract being forged in their name.
I called "Chelsea" back and she said that they just thought I might like a tank, so they wrote up a contract and work order to start my billing. She said "honest mistake" about 15 times as well, but made it clear that there had been no mistake and they had intentionally created the work order without calling me, just because they "thought" I might "like it".
Had I not been home, I would have had a propane tank I have no use for, installed and billed on my lawn. read more
