I got 3 used tires from him, and about a month later I returned to get a patch in one of my tires. He told me he noticed my tires were damaged/no good. I reminded them those were the same tires they sold me. At first, Omar denied even selling that brand, but after speaking with an employee, he agreed to replace them. However, he replaced them with mismatched tire sizes on my Honda Accord. He put two 215/55 R17 tires in the front when the Accord requires 225/50 R17, and on the rear driver side replaced it with a 215/50 R17. Once again i pointed out there was an issue with these tires, he told me when he had the correct sizes in i would get a call so that he could replace them. To this day the issue still is not resolved. In February, they diagnosed my car as needing a water pump replacement. I brought my own part from AutoZone, so I understood the labor would not be under warranty. I was given a great deal, but after getting my car back, I immediately noticed damage/scuffing on the passenger side bumper. When I brought it up, I was questioned about whether the damage was already there and was told the cameras would be checked, and he would get my paint matched to fix it, but nothing was ever resolved. Even worse, only one day after getting my car back, the engine began misfiring. I returned to the shop, and the mechanic admitted a hose had accidentally been left disconnected during the repair. He put the hose back on and sent me on my way. However, the car was still misfiring so I YouTubed it myself and the computer board needed to be rest because of the lose hose so i got under the hood and did it myself. Wouldn't you know, it fixed the problem. How could they not know this needed to be done or did they simply not want to take the time to complete their work. Three months later, I went back again because my car was leaking coolant. I didn't go back because I thought their work was any good but because they were the ones who installed the water pump in the first place. He let me know he could replace the water pump, but there would be another labor charge because I brought my own part. However do I know that the hose they left disconnect did not cause the part to fail after only 3 months. I needed my car, so I paid them again. Of course, I got my car back with more damage, now there are also cracks in the paint on that same passenger-side bumper. I'm done going here.

Earlier this morning while I was dropping my children off at school, a friend mentioned that one of my brake lights was out in our 2015 Honda Odyssey. Miraleste Automotive is across the street from where I live, so I thought I would drop in and inquire about what I needed. 10 minutes later everything was done at a refreshingly reasonable cost. Greg Streeter, the owner of the business, changed the bulb himself. As a business owner myself, that goes a long way with me. In addition, I was treated with kindness and respect from both Greg Streeter and Myra, the office manager. The reason I wanted to mention that portion of this review is that I looked like crap. I literally rolled out of bed and threw something on so I could get my kids to school on time. My hair is screwed up. I haven't showered or shaved yet, and to top it off, our 2015 Honda Odyssey hasn't been washed in weeks. My car also has cobwebs growing on the outside of it, because it's an extra car and we almost never drive it. Yet still, Miraleste Automotive treated me really well at a great price. My wife and I have four cars, and the other three are 2025 & 2026 luxury models. Because of how well I was treated this morning at Miraleste Automotive, I will bring all of my cars there as needed. I highly recommend this place. It is beyond awesome.

Another Trustworthy Auto Repair Shop…read more I recently started researching some of the best auto repair shops in the South Bay Los Angeles area -- specifically Torrance, Carson, Wilmington, San Pedro, and anywhere within a reasonable distance of Harbor City. Torrance Auto Repair came up in a Reddit discussion recommending some of the better shops in the area, so I decided to give them a try. I brought my car in for an alignment and also asked Jimmy to give me an overall evaluation of the vehicle. From the beginning, he was transparent, helpful, and respectful. After completing the alignment, Jimmy explained what other work my car may need and gave me his recommendations. What I really appreciated was that there was no pressure to spend money right away. He simply let me know what to keep an eye on, encouraged me to stay in touch, and recommended following up when needed. That kind of honesty goes a long way with me. I'm always looking for trustworthy people when it comes to maintaining my car, and Jimmy gave me the confidence that I was getting straightforward advice rather than being pressured into unnecessary repairs. I'll still continue going to Pacific Auto for my tire needs, but I'm happy to have another reliable auto shop for other vehicle services. I'd rather support both businesses based on the specific needs of my car. Transparent service, no pressure, and good communication -- exactly what I want from an auto repair shop.
