This is how it should be done. EVERY dr. in this country should be booking a visit as a patient with Dr. G and learning this is what patients deserve. Claire Donnelly (FNP) has been absolutely wonderful. In fact, I probably owe my life to her. She is kind, considerate, listens well, works with the patients and extremely knowledgeable. I had been to many doctors over a period of 10+ years, but none seemed concerned about my high iron count. Claire put together a plan of action based on mutual feedback between her and I. Her recommendation to have some additional blood work (not approved by my insurance, but very important in my diagnosis) proved to be accurate for her treatment plan. As I said before, had it not been for her, I was headed down a path which would have caused major organ damage or even death. I am blessed to have been given such great care. I was tested before coming in and found that I have extreme candida overgrowth. So I assumed the infection I had was a yeast infection(I had every single symptom of a yeast infection). The doctor said it was instead BV and prescribed me antibiotics. I had had the infection for a full week before coming in. I'm now a full 2 weeks in and still desperate for relief. I took the antibiotics for 5 days twice a day (morning and night) and it made my infection WORSE. So I called to see if I would be okay to get off of the antibiotics early to see if my symptoms cleared up. Today is the next day--they aren't completely gone but much better. Then I started to bleed. Rectal and vaginally (I had my period 2 weeks ago and I am very regular so it's not that) but mostly rectal. I have had cramping in my uterus area for 24 hours. I take OPKs to test for ovulation and my LH has not yet peaked as it should have days ago. The antibiotic they put me on severely messed with my body. If I continue to bleed into tomorrow I'm looking at an emergency room visit. When I was there I felt like the nurse wanted to be doing anything else and the doctor was aloof. Don't waste your time and money coming here.

Like painful! The man who was looking into my ear pulled my ear which hurt so bad! Then he put the otoscope very deep and far down into my infected ear. I was in tears for a while after that.
