They never called to let us know how he did during surgery, then they were closed. So I called first thing in the morning and they said just come get him. They literally scooped the lumps out, leaving gaping holes that were cauterized, not closed. They gave us no pain meds, antibiotics or even dressed the wounds (wide open to the air). 4 days later we ended up at the emergency vet where they said he is in extreme pain. They used silver salve on the wound, gave us 2 types of pain meds and one antibiotic and 2 salves to take home. I feel so guilty for letting them do this to my 13 yo boy. Never again.

In Wood county kittens are in abundance because folks find these surgeries cost prohibitively- I'll update once they've been seen...

Dr Cranmore and her staff are all top notch. It was a team effort with an end result that left me with the most beautiful, bouncing and healthy mastiff puppy. They genuinely care about your animals and will work within your budget by giving you affordable options that will maximize the health of your animals. They are not afraid to tell you what you may or may not be doing that is hurting your pet. The animals welfare means more to them than your ego. PS- Apparently it's a bad thing to feed your dogs fried eggs for breakfast everyday. I knew that, but I didn't realize how bad. Trust them. They will take excellent care of you and your fur babies!

I'm a disabled veteran, and don't have a lot of money. I had never been to the Quitman Animal Clinic before. This wonderful office allowed me to bring in an item of value, to hold as collateral, until I could gather the funds to pay for the cat's overnight stay, antibiotics, etc. Their staff is among the friendliest I have ever met- they genuinely treated me as though we had been friends for years. Today, a few YEARS later, Mrs Bigglesworth (and my daughter) are both doing wonderfully. Now, a couple weeks ago, my German Shepherd had an ear infection. Quitman Animal Clinic provided the medicine, and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. The doctor even put some medicine in his other ear, as a preventative measure- something he didn't have to do. So, in closing, I would eagerly recommend the Quitman Animal Clinic to anyone in need of their services!

We were obviously concerned and after a night's stay at the Emergency Vet hospital we took him to Shelley Drive. My meme had taken her dogs there when I was a kid and would visit her from Dallas.
