They never called to let us know how he did during surgery, then they were closed. So I called first thing in the morning and they said just come get him. They literally scooped the lumps out, leaving gaping holes that were cauterized, not closed. They gave us no pain meds, antibiotics or even dressed the wounds (wide open to the air). 4 days later we ended up at the emergency vet where they said he is in extreme pain. They used silver salve on the wound, gave us 2 types of pain meds and one antibiotic and 2 salves to take home. I feel so guilty for letting them do this to my 13 yo boy. Never again.

He had just had his second round of the three rounds of vaccinations at our Vet back home. He wasn't acting right so I took him to the Vet Hospital in town -south end of town - and he tested for Parvo. We were obviously concerned and after a night's stay at the Emergency Vet hospital we took him to Shelley Drive. My meme had taken her dogs there when I was a kid and would visit her from Dallas. They took amazing care of Champ and he has made a full recovery! My wife picked him up today and sent me pictures of him as I'm back in California. Thanks you so much Shelley Drive! You are amazing and have obviously been caring for my family's animals for decades now in one way or another!
