The young men at this O'Reillys were kind enough to let me get towed to their parking lot and have patiently allowed me to troubleshoot and identify the issue. They were unable to source a replacement ECM, but have been extremely kind and understanding while I sourced the part from eBay (it's an old van). This O'Reilly's, its management, and its staff are simply the best. I now have a deep appreciation and respect for South Carolina hospitality and I will always pull over for a South Carolina plate in trouble and ask what I can do to help. In fact, I feel blessed that this van left me in Anderson for a week. Wonderful State, wonderful town, wonderful people, great experience! Horrible experience with Pendleton, SC store and corporate! Needed new spark plugs for Jet Ski…read morewhile on lake vacation. Brought one spark plug into store to get replacements. Manager said they did not have my brand in stock but cross referenced and had another brand in stock that were equivalent. Unknown to me, Manager made mistake cross referencing and sold me plugs that were not comparable - too hot! Burned up Jet Ski pistons / engine - caused over $4000 damage. Have filed complaint with store and corporate. Manager at store says, "there's no way I could have made that mistake"... Corporate keeps telling me that they referred the situation to District Manager and that someone will contact me - have not been contacted yet! Filed complaint Aug. 20. Meanwhile... no jet ski!!!
