Recently, we had our internet provider claim a payment we made was refused. Marissa wrote a letter to the company for us saying that was incorrect. The same issue came up the following month and Deigo helped us resolve. The computer error is now resolved thanks to their help. Before I retired, I was the ED of a day program for folks who live with intellectual disabilities. Our primary goal was to provide the people we supported with paid employment. Redwood Capital was always willing to cash their paychecks and greeted each person by name when they came in. We taught money skills by using the "next dollar" method. If your purchase is $7.50, it is "seven and more". This worked great but resulted in our folks having LOTS of change. Not a problem. The cashiers at RCB greeted us warmly, converted their change cheerfully and often had a bit of candy stashed.

After seeing Many commercials of how they go the " extra" mile for You and The Community, we applied with Bob J, loan officer, in the Fortuna branch. After Credit Dinged, Put under a Microscope, and jumping through hoops, we were told we didn't qualify for a $370 thousand dollar loan. We were on the loan Toghter and Didn't Qualify?? WHAT?? My daughter works for the state, and has been with her job for 7 yrs. I have investment popteries down in San Diego and a 30% Cash down payment, and were told We Don't qualify?? All our income is Legit and verifiable. Ok, so we went on to Separately Qualify And Buy 2 mote properties since. My daughter bought a Duplex On her Own and today, I am signing the escrow papers for My Own house. Don't get Dissapointed or Waste your time.

I'm about to lose my house because they can't communicate…read more Today... I thought it couldn't be any easier. I called them promptly at 8:30 am, and talked to their Customer Care center. I informed them that a wire transfer was to be done by a member, our grandmother, forwarding over 10k worth of funds. I informed them these were specific wiring instructions, and asked what they wanted for the cover letter. They asked for her name, the location of the bank (McKinleyville), my routing number which would be on the transfer, as well as the amount. She said she would get it and forward it onto the bank. ... done. I even called and left a message with the Bank Manager, Kelsey Dunn, to confirm and please call me if they had any questions. My bank created the cover, and sent it over at 8:48am. I call later at just before 11am to confirm they had gotten it. When I informed a different customer care person, they hadn't an idea about the fax, unsure if it came through, and asked which fax number we sent it to. I told them, they said it was right, but didn't see a fax. I said I'd get the bank to fax it again. BUT, went over the information again, JUST to make sure it was right, and she said yes, it was. I called my bank, they confirmed the other went through, and resent the whole thing again. I called the Customer Care center at 11:08am to confirm it came through. They checked the same fax, and sure enough, it was there. They then said that the wiring instructions had two banks on it... which I explained, it's a whole set of instructions, and should detail how it works. She then read it and saw that it was INSTRUCTIONS... which is what they requested as well. And she would get them to their SUPERVISOR. I called the McKinleyville Bank Manager, Kelsey Dunn, again, and ask her to please call me with confirmation of the wire transfer and/or instructions that they should be getting. I called the customer service center again at 1pm, to see if they had any troubles with the transfer. They said the did not see any transfers at all from that location (McKinleyville). I asked my wife to call her grandmother, and she said her grandmother was turned away when she didn't have INSTRUCTIONS needed for the wire transfer. I am immediately fuming beyond all fucking comprehension at this point. I call, and ask to talk to a manager, and get the supervisor, Shelby Thompson. She tells me that the person has never come in, and nobody remember talking to anyone of that name. I inform her, that she was turned away... because she didn't have the instructions... the very fucking ones I have sent twice, and left messages with the bank managers, and have talked with customer care center five fucking times today, detailing every bit of information that could be detailed... and SOMEHOW, SOME... HOW... nobody has been able to get them to the bank. ... she then said she'd "walk" them over. I asked what she meant by "walk", and she says that they're in the same office as the McKinleyville credit union, so she could just walk them over.... It's now 2:00pm here... by bank has closed in the Midwest, and I'm on the cusp of losing our house... simply because not one... single... fucking... person... could "walk" over to give the wiring instructions, to the person handling the wiring... I don't even have the words of how angry at the entirety of the incompetence of this whole situation is.

FIX THE ATM!! OR GET A SECOND ONE!!!!…read more It is rarely ever working. I have an older phone so I am unable to use the Chase app anymore so I rely on the ATM to be able to deposit my checks on evenings and weekends. So it is EXTREMELY frustrating to go and find that, once again, the ATM isn't accepting deposits. So I have to keep going back, hoping it is fixed or not be able to pay bills on time! Or I go to withdraw money on the weekend, only to find out that the ATM is again not working, so I have to go to another bank to get money and be forced to pay their outrageous fees!! With my bill's late fees and other bank's atm fees, I am actually LOSING MONEY from this bank because their only ATM is so unreliable!!!!

Or should I say content soul since she works at the bank hehe I gave this bank one star for the friendly service such as an employee going around to ask if there was any way someone could use one of the two ATMs located inside. I did notice she did not go around person to person starting from the first person in line but instead started in the middle of the line. Why did she do that? A lady in line was going to deposit a check but for some reason she was told she could not do it on the ATMs ?_? Another star was given for the tranquil environment they provided while we waited. Chase has wonderful large windows. I was practicing my patience while I waited to be helped. Thankfully I had no where else to go but imagine those who were in a hurry. Damn! I arrived at the bank for some quarters at 1:16 and left at 1:40pm, phew! I gave this bank another star for being opened compared to the Arcata,CA location while reinforcing social distancing and providing antibacterial gel. Overall I have never had a negative employee experience at the Chase but I think they can improve in some areas too. Such as making more teller stations only three exist and one or two are usually open, having the ATMs provide rolls of quarters, parking space is a bit tight and narrow & having less lights on!

They go above and beyond to help, especially Brenda, I really appreciate their level of exceptional customer service and I would recommend them to any and everyone looking for a great place to go for a very pleasant banking experience. They are by far the best I've encountered so far. Good customer service seems to be hard to come by these days so I really do appreciate the warm, caring atmosphere I've experienced at this bank. Thank you.

I wanted to make payments- and was glad to automatically deduct if I could open an account again. They gave me a hard NO put me on a list where I could no longer open a bank account, anywhere, until paid in full. NRFCU gave me a chance, treated me like a decent human being, and after getting to know me and paying attention to my financial habits via my bank account, they gave me a secured Visa, and I was able to start to rebuild my credit. Since then, with the lovely ladies at NRFCU I have reclaimed my finances, and am doing really well. I'm so grateful for the personal experience that you get when you walk in these doors.
