I do business with people I trust and those that treat me with respect. Tri City Pawn has done both. They have made the experience of working with them enjoyable & friendly. I feel they have my back and are flexible... EX: I needed some $$ and dropped off a nice guitar. They gave me a decent price, and I got super busy, work was late paying, etc... AND I missed the maturity date The owner wrote me a letter, reminded me of my missed date, and said "no Problem" when I paid a few days late. They gave me the experience that its not all about money, and screwing the little guy. I felt like they had my back... I would HIGHLY recommend them if you ever need these services. I consider myself lucky to have found them. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while. I was in the market for a television and Steven gave me a great price on two of them. He even hooked me up with a tv mount. Thanks again Steven. read more

Steven has Always been very pleasant, helpful and respectful to me and my friend and love it that he calls us by our first name basis. He does not rushed us not treat us just any number as his customers. There's always new stocks in his store and the electronics, jewelries, musical instruments, DVDs, Blu Ray, etc. Are priced reasonably. My friend and I love coming back at his store because we know we'll absolutely get a variety of good bargains. Excellent customer service! read more

They had a great selection of higher end tools plus they have a crazy sale I walked in on. I found exactly what I needed and for about 50% of what others are selling these for. Thanks Guys read more

Needed some money for my sons bday party and they gave me an offer that was more than fair for my iPad just to help me out. Most pawn shops try to low ball you but not here..Thanks guys! read more

Got an immediate offer and Steven worked an amazing deal with me 10/10 definitely recommend this place!

Customer service is great. I walked in to browse and ended up leaving with some tools that were a great deal. I asked for information about selling some of my items and I was walked through the process as this was my first time making these type of deals. I came back and sold them some records, movies and even old jewelry that was just collecting dust around my house. Defiantly recommend this place. read more

Tri City Pawn - Money that was just sitting around the house - Jewelry Near Me - Vista, California

I've sold and pawned a few items here. I didn't get the money I had expected but then again it's a pawn shop. I actually received better offers here than other shops I've been to. The customer service was excellent and the transaction was fast and easy. I will definitely be back. read more

I tried to sell my stuff and a guy there would not want to buy a bad experience do not waste your time and go. I tried to sell my stuff and he extremely lowballed me!! I do not like low bawlers he kept on insisting that my stuff was worth nothing!! I tried to sell my stuff because I knew my stuff was worth a lot and I was trying to kick a quick buck. But it turns out you can't even make a quick smile with the guy over there read more

Not too friendly and the first pawn shop I've seen that have things on display but not for sale... wierd.

I have bought from this shop on 3 occasions and will continue to buy from them. I always check their merchandise before I make a major purchase anywhere else. Quality Stuff! read more

As I came in the guy just said put your stuff here, so I did and he gave me such low estimates and broke a strap on my sword holder. He claimed it was like that and when I said are you gonna fix this he ignored me. Very small. Stored with nothing good in it and ugly too, needs a remodel ASAP. As I left pissed about my strap I said thanks asshole and he said don't let the door hit you on the way out. I came back one minute later with speakers I couldn't carry on my first load and he said no I don't want to buy from you. Guy is an asshole place is a dump and will probly go out of business. Don't go here go to the place in Oceanside. read more

I like going into pawnshops to browse sometimes. In January, I came across this place in Vista and was greeted by the owner. He was polite and let me look around the store. The prices were reasonable and I ended up buying some cool wireless headphones. I'll be back next time I'm in town. read more

Haven't been in too many pawn shops but I must say at Tri-City pawn I felt at home. The owner was very helpful and very nice. I would definatley recommend this pawn shop and i will go back if need be. read more

I have pawned things before at other places and have received at least 40% of the total value for my items. Here, I believe I only received 20% but I really needed the money so I went with it. I sold a violin in great condition (it just needed new strings) along with a hard violin case in great condition, with the bow and rosin. I also sold two antique suitcases (1940's) which were in good condition for being antique. I only got $30. I thought that $30 would be fair for the violin, and $20 for both suitcases. But no, $30 for it all. The guy in the shop was very nice but was not open to negotiation at all. The older lady in the shop was very rude and told me no on everything (without even looking at any of the things) before the guy had to step in and tell her he was going to take the sale. The shop is clean and well organized and most of the things seemed to be on sale, so buying from them might be a good deal, but selling was not a good experience. I would look for another shop. read more

These guys where very fair (that is all you can ask). I went to other shops and they either wouldnt deal or where rock bottom. All and all i walked out satisfied and got a square deal from them. They are worth checking in and getting an evaluation from. read more

Offered me a measly 16 dollars for my jewelry. It was insulting and I knew for a fact I would get a better deal else where. Don't waste your time. read more

This Pawn Shop is one of the good ones in the area. I've been to other pawn shops and they can be really grungy and the people are jerks... this one is a family run business and the owners are pretty cool. My car broke down and I needed some quick cash, so I pawned my gold necklace and was happy with the amount I got as a loan and with the customer service. When I picked up my necklace, I bought a small tv for my bedroom from them and so far it works great and I got it super cheap, way better than buying it at Walmart or Best Buy. Much better prices! read more
