This is my doctor, and I have been coming for years here to see him (well sometimes I skip a year…read moreor too if I am feeling dandy!) and I have to say he is real good with getting you back on your feet fast. I do not know if he is taking anymore patients, as when I come here there are always people waiting around like a walk in clinic, which either tells me he is good, or that there is no one else to go to (which is defintely not the case!). He gives you real world solutions to problems and ailments so I am never afraid of going there. Not intimidating and he gets to know you, and in some ways he is the neighborhood doctor mentality. Fluent in English and Cantonese, I talk to him in both ways sometimes, and also if you need any shots or medications, he won't just prescribe it, but he looks at your situation and also ask if you have work coverage and to ask first if they cover, so he does think of things outside the box.

He is very caring and takes his time with each person. I am aware that often you have to wait and sometimes it's a long wait but I plan for this but you know when it's your turn, you will get his full and undivided attention. I never feel rushed with him. I think I'd rather that than a doctor who is on time but feels rushed. The MOA's on staff can be a little snappy, but I don't doubt that they have a lot of difficult people to deal with on a daily basis. But other than that, Dr. Leung has always made me feel extremely comfortable and has legitimately listened to my concerns without brushing me off/trying to rush to the next patient. I have always been treated with the utmost respect and been granted referrals when I have asked; or been given a logical explanation if my request was not able to be granted. If anyone is looking for a family practice in the Champlain 'hood, I would highly recommend Dr. Leung and the rest of the staff at Collingwood Medical!
