I understand some people will always have a bad experience and anomalies happen, while not placing absolute blame on the customer who did not keep a receipt i wish to put forward my experience. Over the many years that i have been shopping there i have had two incidents that come to mind of purchases failing on me. A pair of snowboard boots that i wore for 4 weeks riding then had the heel fall away from the rest of the boot, I didn't have the receipt but did have a Credit Card statement, they replaced them there and then with the latest model and i went on my merry way. The second incident was surrounding a pair of Bond snowboard pants that ripped on a seam and when returning (with the receipt) they were replaced with next years model. They then ripped in the same place again so we returned them again and this time Bond was gone and no longer trading (possibly due to the quality of garments?) yet SS20 still honored the purchase and let us pick up another pair of equivalent value from another manufacturer. Felt i needed to put a review down to try and reflect how the snowboard and skate community feel about this great skater/snowboarder owned shop is run and that hopefully the bad incident from a couple of years ago as mentioned by Greg-OX4 was an isolated incident of poor attitude by a previous member of staff in a difficult situation?

Two seasons is a great shop for surfing/skiing/skating/skateboarding/snowboarding. Has all the classic makes regarding these sports such as billabong, quicksilver to name but a few. Not great for prices mind as it is expensive, very expensive. But sometimes you have to pay for quality items, but this can be argued. Not a bad shop, staff seem friendly and know about some of the sports in detail! There are bigger and better stores located within the midlands unfortunately i dont believe this is one of them! Give it a try and see for your self if it deserves a better write up than mine.

I'm really disappointed at this company when it showed such good potential with reviews and prices…read more Ordered an ice axe, whose shipping was pending on an ID request email (why not incorporate this on the website when making purchases with blades, or let users create ID verified profiles to skip this (understandable but poorly executed) faff altogether? To then receiving another email now telling me that they actually no have the item in stock, so clearly their stock levels on their website are completely unreliable if it says 1 or 2 left in stock. So, they don't reserve the item aside for a reasonable time whilst waiting for the customer to provide ID (which I did within half a day). The only assumptions from this is that they either didn't have it to begin with and have unreliable stock measurements in place; or that they sold it between when I placed the order and today; or worse, they have staff stealing or doing under-the-table deals when the last item in stock goes on sale. All of which just make Absolute Snow look incompetent and unrealiable. They offered apologies and replacement, but I wanted that item specifically due to its grip, curvature, colour, and reviews. Least they could do is put the item on back-order and just ship it to me once you'd have it back in stock, I'd much prefer that than "pick something else or a refund". Fortunately, I'm not in any rush as I'm just prepping for winter and there's time, but it's really disappointing as a first impression and I'll be looking elsewhere with reliable stock levels. Diabolical Service - you really should avoid using this company. I am going to have to use VISA…read moreChargeback to get my money back and purchase elsewhere. I ordered some skis, was advised of delivery, and had a text confirming the delivery date. They didn't turn up. Two days later still no skis. Several calls with Absolute Snow and they wanted me to wait, not interested in helping me. The courier (DX Express) confirmed they had lost the item and would be advising the sender. Absolute Snow still refused to send a replacement until they had that in writing from the Courier. So I am still awaiting skis. Finally, I decided that I had given them sufficient opportunity to make things good and they had not. So my next step is to use the VISA Chargeback and obtain my money back that way. I would never use this awful company again. Read some more of the reviews - I am saying nothing new. They have form on goods not arriving, poor customer service, and reluctance to refund. My advice, spend another Tenner and go to a Company that cares and provides a Service.

You can depend on a store like Snow and Rock, whatever your adventurous outdoor pastime is, as the name suggest, if it involves snow and rock you'll most likely find what you're looking for. The staff will advise you at length if you're unsure about what qualities your kit needs to have in order to optimise your outdoor experiences. I got a pair of tasty B2 mountaineering boots here a nice discount and a rugged shell jacket for under £300 which is pretty good going seeing as you could spend double, if not more, elsewhere. It can get expensive, so keep an eye out for the sales, as there tend to be pretty good discounts, although they may be in garish colour or ridiculous sizes, so make sure your first to be there. Tried to buy a flare, failed…read more I'm a pretty extreme guy, i cant help it. I feel right at home at Snow and Rock and fit in with all the ex-stunt man action heros that work here. This store is seriously cool and they love what they sell, Snowboards, Outdoor, camping, climbing.. its all here. The store is split nto its respective sections and its easy to find what your looking for, they always have staff with great experience in the field your shopping in at hand to give you some insider advice. Some of the items can get expense but this place stocks some of the best known brands in the world so its to be expected.
