Our dog comes home smelling better than we do and it lasts over a week, usually two weeks. That's impressive! With other groomers, she would start smelling "doggie" after a few days. And she's hardly shedding anymore! They take the time to really groom your dog, not just a quick bath and then stick them in front of the blow dryer. We call it her "spa day" because she truly gets the works with her bath/massage/brushing! At first, our dog was scared and didn't want to go, but now loves it and runs in to greet the ladies there. We've also boarded our cats there and they love it, too! They get brushed and loved, too! The ladies even took the time to get to know our kitties - what they liked and didn't like to help them be more comfortable. They are also very flexible with my schedule. I've had to drop off and pick up at certain times, which they accommodated (grooming and boarding). I can't say enough good things about Robbie's and the people there! I highly recommend them!

I can't say I recommend this vet. There's something unwelcoming and cold about the girls at the…read morefront desk, and the vet techs seem bored and tired. But mostly it's the front desk staff I find the most off putting. Three times I had to schedule my puppy to be neutered. The first time they called me last minute and said the vet had to leave town suddenly for a family affair. Totally understandable. I rescheduled. No worries. The second time, however, they called me at around 8:30 in the morning demanding to know if I was bringing my dog in or not. I informed them that, per my calendar, his appointment was not until the following day. I get rudely told that I am wrong and that now I am late. It is insinuated that I have somehow ruined everyone's day. This was during the Great Random Abilene Icestorm of 2018 so my car was encased in about 5 inches of solid ice. I hadn't cleared it off or warmed it up because I had no plans to go anywhere. I tell the woman on the phone this. She gets even more put out. I ask if I can just bring him in the next day (the day he was actually scheduled although she continues to deny that)...I am told no. I am told that the vet is so busy it will now be over a week until the procedure can be done. Am I being punished? The world may never know. Sooooo, it gets rescheduled. She is on speaker phone and my husband is sitting right next to me. I wrote the day and time down and I input it into my trusty phone. I reiterate: "now this is the day and time, right? I need us both to be sure" I am told yes. We hang up. The end. A week later I get a call from yet another rude staff member. "We are calling to confirm your dogs appointment tomorrow" Ummmmm......his appointment is day after tomorrow. Once again I am rudely told that I am wrong and they are right and I can't prove otherwise and am I bringing my dog in or not? Does this vets office exist in some rip in the space time continuum? Is there a worm hole these women must drive through on their way to work? My husband was a witness! I wrote down the day and time the last woman had barked at me (see what I did there? Hahaha)! Needless to say, I rearranged my plans and brought my dog in the next day. The reception was cold as usual...borderline contemptuous. He got fixed and updated on all shots and we went on our merry way. I'm searching for a new vet, btw.

Then our veterinarian recommended Cat. She has an adorable shop right downtown. It's super cute!
