It's also in a convenient location in the town centre by the Broad street mall. I was first introduced to Headmaster's in London near Paddington station and had consistently amazing results with my colourist Thea. Yet, the branch in Reading leaves something to be desired. The staff have given me both great and terrible results. The worst being some highlights done last year which were so uneven and over-processed. They responded professionally when I went back and gave me a full refund and another colour on top in an attempt to make my hair look normal again. However, it hasn't been the same since and I've been searching for the best hairdresser in Reading for a while now. I wish I could have found someone there I would be happy to recommend but nothing yet. I don't completely hate headmaster's but I can't love them either because I don't know the staff there enough. So, my main recommendation would be to go with a senior stylist or colourist if you decide to go here. I put pricey because the last time I went I felt it was very inflated for what I got. However, you can get good deals if you use the student discounts and recommend a friend or birthday discounts.

They also have something called stand0by haircuts, where you can get haircuts at reduced rates if you turn up on the day itself if peple cancel their appointments. At Indigo Rye, the service was fantastic. I got great tea service and even had my back massaged in one of their chairs, whilst having my hair washed. I had my hair coloured and it still looks fantastic (after 5 weeks) I had a great cut and blow dry and my hair has never looked so so great. I've now completley changed the way i wear my hair everyday. I make sure that i show it of to its best. I also had a makeup constitation and the results for that were fantastic too. Even though i won this in a competition, i am going to be going to this salon again and will pay whatever, as i have never been so impressed with the way my hair feels and looks.

When I said they have to be cleaned first, the manager gave me the weirdest look, and told me what's wrong. Told her that the lady cutting the hair isn't professional as she didnt divide the hair in segments and she is cutting the hair totally dry and not properly brushed. She replied, well that is our technique and left me.. Now my 5 years old is crying because her hair looks awful. Don't recommend it at all
