We tested out some hybrid Treks but weren't certain which ones we liked. My husband tried both the hybrids as well as road bikes. Dan was super patient and helpful to us. We went back again today and was helped by Rick. He was attentive and on the ball and helped set us up on several types of bikes today to test out. We tested out the Electra's, then the Townie and finally the electric bikes. The Electra bikes were unbelievably comfortable and far as ride and overall comfort and fit, as well as ease of gear switches, all internal to the bike and done with twist of the handle grip. The Townie was a stiffer and rougher ride. The electric bikes were exhilarating and fun for sure, but pricey. I rode and electric Townie bike that was about $2,600 and my husband tested out an electric bike by Townie that costs $4,600, their higher end model. It was most noticeable during the turbo setting. There is also the Eco, touring and sport modes as well. I preferred and felt the biggest impact during turbo. I am most swayed by the true comfort ride of the electric cruiser 7, by far my favorite of all of the bikes I have tried out so far. Think I found the winner.

When I had issues with the bike these guys didn't hesitate to repair everything at no cost, including giving me a new set of cranks without me paying a dollar, and they have always been willing to put in extra effort to make sure you leave with satisfaction in your visit. I wouldn't trust any review that's less than five stars when it comes to this establishment.

With the first order I purchased was a custom wheel, it took a little while but I was patient being…read morethey laced up the wheel for me and helped me pick the right sizes of spokes and what not. With the second order, I purchased forks and two tires. Didn't receive a tracking for a few days called multiple times...I ordered on a Friday at around 12:30am...didn't hear about anything Monday or Tuesday so I decided to call. They were saying that I could receive the items the next day or Thursday at the latest. I still didn't get a tracking number by Wednesday so I called again, they said the order was delayed because they didn't have one of the tires in stock...then, I got a tracking number. The tracking number said arriving Friday...it is now Friday and I have received a package. I opened this package up and it's just the tires...WHERE ARE MY FORKS?!?! The package was delayed BECAUSE OF THE TIRE!!!! I should've received the forks FIRST! As this was a 1 of 2 package...the tracking number was not provided for the forks. I called and the guy said he'd provide the tracking number right away....two hours went by and still no tracking. I decided to call again and he was making excuses for not sending the tracking. The status still said the forks weren't even processed for shipping and I asked if he could accommodate me by replacing one of the tires with a different color because it turned out that the shade of green that this tire was was not to my liking. I was asking him to send out a different color tire with the forks and a return label so I could send him the green one back, this was a MAJOR problem for him as he was acting like I was going to rip him off. I had spent over $600 in the past two weeks as a first time customer and he wouldn't help me with the tire...that was how I was treated over a $30 part when I spent over $600. He was saying it was my fault for choosing economy shipping but I only chose that because another employee said it would make a difference even if I chose the $50 extra shipping....so they lost my potential as a frequent returning customer. I should've received the forks first because it wouldn't have been a big deal to grab a different tire. These forks are specific for my frame and were $50 less with albes but now I wish I would've just ordered from source/sparkys to spend that extra $50 for better service. June 21st is tomorrow and it was my goal to have this bike put together by then, but albes has failed me. I've spent the last month collecting all these parts separately for my complete custom bike. There's no reason for lack of communication or for an order to not even enter transit until a WHOLE week later. Source/sparkys and eBay will be my go to vendors from now on, as for albes is dead to me.

I use a mobility scooter…read more While they do have automatic doors, the button on the inside door is so far back in the alcove, that I hit it and could not get turned around before the door closed. There were many areas that I was not able to get to. The socks, which is what I came for, are on a wall at the back of the clearance area. The floor was so covered in merchandise and the displays were so close together, that I could not get near them. The clothing aisles were all diagonal and impossible to navigate. Lastly, and most upsetting to me, my daughter and I were checking out at the same time and her cashier was really pleasant, greeted her warmly and kept up a stream of converation, but the one that waited on me was rude and barely spoke. I can't say for sure that this was due to my disability, but what else am I to think? Evidently Rei doesn't care for disabled people. Or maybe they think that people with disabilities do not need active merchandise, so they don't have to cater to them. Either way it was sad to be treated negatively just because I have to use a scooter to get around.

I heard Yeti was a great brand to keep the water cold for a very long time. I have been looking for a color I liked and found a nice red one here called Harvest Red. I do not think Yeti is discounted very often, so I probably just paid they typical price, but I liked their assortment. Their customer service was really good. Many people talked to me to make sure I found what I needed and they were all very friendly and personable. They do ask you to join their club. I do not buy enough for it to be worth my while but it seems like a decent deal if you do buy here often since it is one fairly small payment for life and allows you to accumulate points or get a discount. They have a small but nice shoe selection, and I like the clothing selection as well. If you are interested in a smaller, less overwhelming sporting goods shop, this is a nice one.
