I called my dealer (Cowboy Harley) in Austin that services my bike. My service manager Parmer put me on hold for a few minutes and told me they have a sister dealership in Grand Junction, Co. He called them for me and explained the symptoms I told him and said they are expecting me as soon as I could arrange a tow. My insurance Geico sent out a flat-bed truck to Rifle, Co to pick me up and bring me 70mi to Teddy Morse on a Friday. Long story short, it turns out the water pump and a couple sensors went out. Thank God I bought an extended service plan for it last month! I must say my service team (Sabrina, Tracy & Paul) were the consummate professionals! They got me back on the road the next day (Sat afternoon). I really want to shoutout Paul my Tech. I know a little about the mechanicals of my bike and Paul went out of his way to invite be back into the shop to show me what he did, what is broken and what was fixed. Paul....you rock brother! Actually, the whole team at Teddy Morse are rockstars!!! If you need work done on your ride, take it to Teddy Morse, they get you done right!

I spent quite a bit of time in the dealership, yet no one from the motorcycle sales staff even acknowledged me. No hello, no "Can I help you?"--nothing. Several people appeared to be sitting around in the offices, but no one seemed interested in coming out to speak with a potential customer. Eventually, I went to the counter myself to ask about a helmet. The young lady who helped me there was excellent--friendly, knowledgeable, and very informative. I absolutely want to give her credit because she provided the kind of customer service I expected when I walked through the door. Unfortunately, when it comes to motorcycle sales, my experience was terrible. When someone walks into a Harley-Davidson dealership seriously interested in a Tri Glide, you would think at least one salesperson would take a moment to acknowledge them. I love Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and I was prepared to talk seriously about another bike. Based on the lack of interest from the sales staff, however, I'll probably take that business somewhere else. Very disappointing experience, and that is why I'm giving this dealership such a low review.

We have been on several trips with them out of the Crested Butte site - Slate River and Emerald Lake. This week, we decided to try the Gunnison River. Our instructor/guide, Kay, was very knowledgeable and experienced. She provided technical tips as well as pointing out wildlife and landscape features along the way. Kay was very conscious of our safety at all times. My husband and a friend were both relatively inexperienced, and we all made it through this Class 1-2 stretch with only a few minor spills. We learned a lot about reading the river as well. We can't wait to do more trips with CB SUP again next summer!
