I came here on a Saturday for a Black Arts Cultural Festival which was in the open grass. They had speakers and merchandise for sale and food vendors. Over 100 people were there when I arrived later in the evening and there was ample space for people. Bring a blanket, friends, and food and you'll have a great time here.

There are a few benches scattered about which are in good shape and the park does provide evening lighting. Skate boarding and such are not allowed at the park and there's no playground equipment. There is a parking lot and street parking available. The park is adjacent to the historic Lee House and Parsonage Museum.

Grounds could be better maintained but still an ok park to come to if you're in the area. Not one to make a trip for.

I was able to sit, relax, and get some reading in without any distractions. There's a senior living spot across the street, so you'll see some of the residents hanging out, playing games, and enjoying the space too, which honestly adds a really nice, community feel. The park itself is well-kept and clean, which always makes a difference. There's plenty of seating, and on a good day you'll catch a nice breeze with enough shade to stay comfortable. I also noticed a small skating area, which is a cool touch if you're into that. Parking can be a little limited since the lot is on the smaller side, but there's also street parking nearby, so it's manageable. If you're into running or just want a quick workout, they even have bleachers you can run up and down. Overall, it's a quiet, easygoing spot that's perfect for relaxing, reading, or just enjoying some fresh air.

There is also a library near by, a coffee shop, jack in the box and a Vons in case you have some errands to run after. If you are going to take a stroller with you on your walk please be sure it is a jogging stroller in one of the areas it has ALOT of dirt to go through which made it really tough to go through but you could always just head back around the other way depending on which area you parked at. They have softball fields and even a dog park!
