The getting-ready space was peaceful and beautiful, setting the perfect tone for the day, and every part of the venue--from the ceremony site to the dinner setup and beyond--was breathtaking. Kellie, Cheri, and all the vendors were warm, attentive, and made everything feel effortless. Their kindness and attention to detail really helped us relax and enjoy every moment. If you're looking for a venue that's stunning and feels like home, Male'ana Gardens is it. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate!

My husband and I decided to look at small venues and saw Maleana Gardens. Usually they do small weddings up to 20 people. I was a little hesitant at first because on their IG it looked a little too good to be true and I didn't hear much about it. After speaking with Cheri, the owner, she invited us to go down to their property and take a look for ourselves before booking. We totally winged it and went. The property is full of luscious tropical plants, amazing photo ops, and overall absolutely beautiful! It felt like we were on another island. Cheri shared she and her husband,Scott planted all of the plants and maintained the grounds for many years. So cool! Going through the process of planning (yes even for an intimate ceremony) can be stressful. Through out the process, Cheri was easy to get a hold of and so helpful during this crazy time. Our wedding ceremony was able to go as planned and we didn't have to worry about anything. Cheri worked with our vendors and was even able to do a last minute set up for cake cutting. Thank you to Cheri for everything! We are truly grateful that we were able to have our Covid wedding ceremony!

This was easily one of the most unique golf courses I've ever played, and one of the toughest. The views on this course were absolutely insane. It felt like you were on the set of Jurassic Park but playing golf. I don't like taking a ton of photos on the course but it's really hard not to in this one. The course itself is beautiful but the conditions left a bit to be desired. I'll give grace though because it's a link style course, and I can only imagine how tough it is to maintain considering the terrain. They had punched the greens a month ago and they weren't in the best condition. The staff from start to finish were amazing. Really helped us to understand the course and reminded us to just have fun. As mentioned the course is really tough. Lots of blind shots, lots of hazards and really no room to miss left or right on any hole. Either way, it's one of those courses where you can't expect to score well, probably will lose a ton of balls, but just being there and making the trek out to the course is still very much worth it. Glad we got to cross this one of our golf bucket list!

Inside, it looks like an ordinary golf course restaurant. Comfortable seating and a gorgeous view of Kailua and the Lanikai Pill Box hiking trail. They actually have a good looking menu with a little bit of everything, from appetizers to desserts, and everything in between. Our table had a bunch of appetizers, fried chicken wings, shrimp tempura and coconut shrimp, cold tofu, soy beans, and kalbi. Or entrees varied from, what I could see, Kobe beef sliders, fish tacos, Reuben or corned beef sandwiches, I had the Shrimp Bahn Mi Bao, which came with 3 sweet, Chinese style buns, filled with a fried shrimp, topped with pickled carrot and daikon, and a little Chinese parsley, and a handful of fries. This was really refreshing and tasty! Dessert, there was a variety of watermelon sorbet, bread pudding, and I had a afrogotto, I'm probably spelled it wrong, but it's vanilla ice cream topped with espresso, very good!

The hall is really big, so it fit all of our family and friends comfortably without feeling packed or stressful. Everything felt welcoming as soon as we walked in, and it gave us the space we needed to come together for something that meant a lot to all of us. It just made the whole day feel a little easier to handle. Setting everything up was actually way smoother than I expected, especially since we had family and friends handling everything while we were still at my dad's funeral service. By the time we arrived, so much was already done, and the space made it easy for everyone to jump in and help without things getting crowded or confusing. The layout worked really well for decorations, food, and seating, and nothing felt rushed or disorganized. It helped take a lot of pressure off us during a really emotional day. During the reception, everything just flowed naturally and felt really comfortable. We had music, food, and performances, and the space handled all of it without any issues. People were able to move around, talk, and just be together while still honoring my dad in a meaningful way. It didn't feel chaotic at all, which made a big difference. On top of all that, the value for what you get is honestly really solid. For the size of the space and how much it can handle, it felt worth it and not overpriced compared to other places. Being able to host a large, meaningful event without feeling limited or stressed made it even more worth it for us. Overall, I'm really thankful we chose this venue and would definitely recommend it to anyone planning something important.
