What got me super excited for this event they have called "Clothing Swap Party" how cool is that! Just bring your unneeded clothing, shoes and purses and who doesn't have that what they do is have these tables and racks to hang and layout your clothing where we are allowed to browse and see the potential item you like to add to your wardrobe. Also there is The Skin Institute with students ready to provide a consultation on your skin condition and products they'd recommend to treat it. I had a delightful student Esthetician named Sstarr and went over my skin which I assumed and the course of products she recommend, along with a coupon for 10% off facial is a great start to a glowing complexion. I did find a shirt but wasn't really looking for a swap like so many here were delightfully enthusiastic just to see it going somewhere that will be loved and appreciated than the trash or lost in the donation bin, which isn't where what's left is going to a non-profit...fabulous! Once the swap was basically done I did get to browse around the area which looked like a fun lofty vibe with different pods and seating area and kitchen is super cute! A free pop-up movie in Honolulu...at Impact Hub! Amy found a free movie through Eventbrite and I was so excited to go! I've always wanted to see "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" and this was it! Yay! Thanks, Amy! I actually parked for free right across the street at Whole Foods. Impact Hub does have it's own parking lot, and you can get validation. Inside, the workspace (available for rent) is clean, colorful, and spacious. There are restrooms, showers, telephone booths, desks, chairs, tables, a kitchen with microwave, and a plain white wall for projections... This is where we gathered and watched the story of Fred Rogers of the television show, "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood". This venue was perfect for a casual get together. Tonight's event was sponsored by PBS. There was a good variety of snacks - and water was available in reusable cups. Afterwards, I realized that I had been here before. My friend's wife graduated from esthetician school at this place! Wow...it's a versatile space! read more

I have been to Impact Hub a handful of times since last year for events and meetings sponsored by local non-profit organizations. I like the look and feel of this co-working space. It's very spacious with modern facilities including a nice kitchen, bathrooms, showers, and sleeping spaces for the entrepreneurs who have offices here. I read an article recently that said Hawaii is the worst state in the nation to start a business. It shouldn't surprise anyone who lives or has attempted to do business here. The high cost of living, isolation in the middle of the Pacific, and dependence on imports makes starting a successful business here a challenge, especially for entrepreneurs not from Hawaii. I have not attempted to rent office space at Impact Hub, so I can't speak as a customer who has paid for use of its office space, but I think just the existence of Impact Hub is a positive step in the right direction for Honolulu's entrepreneurial scene. It provides a space for networking and collaboration amongst like-minded people to generate ideas and provide the support needed for new entrepreneurs to thrive. It also allows non-entrepreneurs like myself opportunities to attend events that educate and bring the community together. I would recommend Impact Hub to organizations and clubs that need a venue to hold a conference, event, or gathering. read more

I have been coming to The Hub for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier with the establishment. The friendly and helpful staff and the great space attract cool members, perpetuating a very positive culture and environment. The work areas are spacious and are decorated with fun art and great amenities: adjustable height desks so you can stand and work or sit on a comfy swivel chair, treadmill at a standing desk, all desks have multiple USB, USB-C, and 115 v charging ports, sound-proof phone booths to make your calls in, extra monitors you can use, tables at couches to work at, showers and lockers, nice kitchen/socializing area (although I've been so busy these past few months that I've mostly kept to myself, working and eating at my desk). I appreciate the amenities that are included with membership like printing, coffee, a variety of cereals and milks, locally made kombucha and cold-brewed coffee on tap, etc. I've also been to a couple of the free workshops they occasionally host there and I enjoyed both. I've only chatted a little with the owner, but he's a very nice guy, is always there, and seems to truly care about the business and its community of members. If you're looking for a space to get work done, The Hub is an excellent choice. read more

Needed to find a venue to throw a party for myself and of course I turned to Yelp for help!!! Found this place and read nothing but good things about this place. Kept in contact with Anne who supposedly in charge and Joshua for the final payments. They both answered all my questions and the process went smoothly. My husband and I decided to schedule a day to see the place and we both fell in love with how the place was so unique and full of great art everywhere. We were guaranteed that it was perfect for my painting party and we knew our guest would love it as well. Payments: We decided to go ahead and rent "Meeting Room Only" for 4 hours which the total came out to be $630. And on top of that an additional security deposit is needed and it's due immediately in order to secure the booking ($250) and its refundable if you clean up after yourself. And the event invoice will be due 7 days prior to the event. Paying online was quite confusing so good luck on that. I would prefer filling out a form and paying with my credit card but no you'll need to create a log in and password online just to reserve and make a payment which is such a hassle. We had a staff available on the day of the event, just in case we had questions or needed some what of assistance and his name was Kevin. (WE'RE BEING CHARGE EVERY HOUR FOR A STAFF TO BE PRESENT) Keep in mind Kevin was added to the email thread along with Anne and Joshua. He knew exactly what we agreed upon arrival and yet he continued to have an attitude. List below are some things we agree to have and be ready at the event.  - recycling bins are to be located near the room ***zero recycling bins to be found...  - we request (2) water jugs to be placed in room ***it was exactly 5pm when we started to set up and there were no water jugs to be found. so I had to remind Kevin (staff) about it, didn't recieved till and hour later around (730pm)... -we requested mic and boze stereo to be available ***it was not ready or available till later (730pm), again I had to request and let Kevin know. ***Kevin was not a help at all. He was very upset and shocked by all the requests that we were making. We also asked him if he could help us arrange some of the tables and he made a sarcastic comment that "we are hosting and not him" and would walk away...very professional!!! Everytime we would go outside to ook for him, he would be in the front sitting down and on his phone.. He already had an attitude to be begin with and made it clear to us that he didn't want to be there!!! Last but not least, the AC!!!! It was NOT working throughout the night!!! (500pm-900pm) (KEEP IN MIND WE'RE BEING CHARGE FOR EVERY HOUR FOR AC) It was so damn hot when we arrive to set up for the party!!! I was told from Kevin that the room will get colder and to just give it some time... We mentioned the AC issue to Kevin numerous times and he replied with an attitude that he'll turn it up and AGAIN mentioned to me it just takes time to have the room cold. Mind you, it was an ugly sweater party with 25 people in the room, we were all uncomfortable!!! The whole 4 hours the room was hot!! 75 degrees was the lowest we saw all night. When you step out of the room to use the restroom the rest of the place was COLD!!! I want a refund!! I would NOT recommend my family and friends to have this place rented out for an event or party. I gave this place 2 stars because while the facility was very nice, I felt like the owners didn't want me there, despite paying the same as everyone else. I was there from late August to November. I had an unlimited membership and a parking stall (over $500 a month). I needed a private space to write and transcribe music on my laptop (which makes no noise) . While the manager who gave my my initial tour had no issue with that, the two owners seemed to think I had ulterior motives. Initially, they would give me dagger eyes, even after it was obvious I had a membership. One of the owners once came up to me and made small talk and said I should 'introduce my self.' Why should I introduce my self to anyone? I'm a paying customer, not an employee. I was there to escape distraction, not to socialize. After that, both owners would completely ignore me. I figured things were cool when they started to acknowledge me, but I was wrong. I was heating up food at the microwave and one of the owners came up to me and started asking about what I did over the holidays. We spoke for a bit, and he suddenly just flaked on our conversation and started talking to someone else. While there is no law against flaking on conversations, it's rude to treat a full paying customer like that. I felt insulted and I was embarrassed that I had been patronizing a business that obviously thought little of me. Based on my experience with Hub coworking, I'd only recommend this place to real estate agents, entrepreneurs, or remote workers, otherwise you may be treated with little regard by the owners, despite paying the same as everyone else. read more

Super cool space. I go here for Kuleana Academy. HAPA the non-profit that Kuleana Academy is under is renting out this space for four months for us. Parking is hard, but I normally just park in the Whole Foods parking lot which I hope one day my car doesn't get towed. I heard membership here for a co-working space is expensive af, but they have cool amenities like tap booch, big open space, cell phone booths to talk in, big bathrooms, lockers, bulletin boards, a lot of small meeting areas, and seating. I have really been fortunate to have found a Coworking space like the HUB. It is reasonably priced, and provides for all of my office needs. There is meeting space, private conversation spaces and also quiet places to work. The staff are top notch, the billing each month is easy to understand and pay, and it's right across the street from Whole Foods which is awesome. I have held events in the kitchen also, which is a great gathering space. I can highly recommend a membership to the hub read more

This was my very first experience working out of a coworking environment. The space itself is decent and has nice private offices and amenities... However, as with any community, one's experience is fully dependent on how the facility is operated, how the people participating in that community behave, and how it is managed. The owners here are frankly unreasonable, and have a very clear bias as to who they want in their space versus not. Long story long, I registered through a 3rd party contract -- which confusingly has a different set of terms and conditions -- and on my second or third night took a rest in what appears to be a designated nap area (think Google offices with bed-couch hybrids), and was awoken by one of the owners in an ominous way, as if I'd committed some kind of major criminal act. He alluded to previous members having their membership revoked for misusing the space (i.e. they didn't work on any projects and simply slept overnight). No problem, after that I didn't use the beds. Done. Fast forward 3 weeks later, after using the space normally, I incidentally dozed off in the morning around 10AM or so at my 24/7 dedicated desk after working overnight. I figured I'd strained myself for the week and took 2 nights off (apparently a bad idea as you will later read)... They outright assumed I was "taking advantage of them" because I fell asleep at my dedicated desk after VERIFIABLY working overnight. They also said they "didn't know who I was" which is a lame excuse to say they didn't want to know who I was -- if I ended up getting hired by another member for a project, how was it harder for management to figure out who I was? This is where it began to feel less like policy and more like bias... I showed them the work I'd completed that morning, as well as the caffeinated meds I'd purchased for the explicit purpose of combating drowsiness -- They didn't care. I asked them to review the security cameras from when I was making prints and at my laptop, but they refused to check them when I brought it to their attention -- Didn't care, and just stuck to the presumptive and absurd, obviously wrong idea that I wasn't there to work on my project while using the space to work remotely overnight. In the end, they tried to put me on a "probationary period to redeem myself" for incidentally falling asleep after working hard, but the damage was done... I told them I felt treated unfairly and voluntarily moved to a different space. That said, I am still working with other members at the hub so I occasionally have to deal with them anyway, but at least it's on a more limited basis. They seem to be very hostile to anyone they personally feel is undeserving of the space, and it isn't just me that feels this way as I've spoken to at least 4 other members who've expressed similar grievances. In fact 2 other members have told me they are strongly considering leaving. We suspect it has something to do with them seeking funds from a certain class of investors, and they may be willing to be excessively hard on the little guy to meet this end. Their way of dealing with policy is inhuman, cold, and detached. I cannot in good faith recommend working beneath them if you have any other viable options, as you will quickly find out they don't care about their paying clients working on legitimate small-scale projects, but instead seem to care more about their image to potential major investors. The best way I can describe their overall attitude is that you are paying them to be your new boss. I was actually scolded for not sending a reply email quickly enough when I took a break from the space for 2 days (days off from my work due to tiredness) -- this was described as being "difficult to contact" which was an absurd claim since I'd been easily collaborating with other members for the entire duration of my membership. They locked me out of the space, despite the fact that I went directly to them to address any issues before I even knew I was locked out. That's how quick they are to jump the gun and assume malicious intent. Nuts. All it took was one of the staff coming upstairs to say "Hi, what are you working on today?" and they'd have opened a line of communication without the excessive drama of sitting me in a board room and talking down to me as if I'd committed some kind of crime. One of them also mentioned "in Hawaii it's who you know, not what you know" (paraphrasing here) giving the impression that I needed to suck up to their condescending attitudes to be successful in the space. Which begs the question -- Who do they think they are? I found this to be very unprofessional. These are some of the least understanding and least accommodating people on the island. If they don't like you from day one, you will eventually run into "problems" with little to no recourse. I am now happily situated at another coworking space that is cheaper, has 24/7 access, and has owners with actual, human personalities. read more

The Hub is where I go to check in with friends, get shit done, and meet new passionate people. I've often been to co-working spots that come with a cult-like feel if you are from out of town. I was super impressed by my first visit and really liked the vibe there to get some work done. There are a variety of seating areas and wifi was GOOD, something crucial for this kind of office space. There are showers, kitchen with free coffee and tea and pay as you go beer, you can take in your meals or cook it up, if you bring everything. Telephone booths you can book if you need to make undisturbed calls or telephone conferences, and the various meeting rooms that can be booked and rented depending on your membership level. I'm just trying it out at the starter level 30 bucks a month with 2 workdays and a pay as I need to rate per day or meeting I wish to book. You can buy a guest pass for 2hr at $15 if you need to meet clients and I like because it gives incentive to use the space as your work space and be efficiency conscious of you do invite someone to come for a meeting. This is grownup Starbucks. and not homework room for students or adult day care. Some cool furniture, artwork, etc and Whole Foods is across the street of you want to run across for foraging or meet someone outside for a break. There is a parking lot, but despite being told clearly that it is supposed to be validated, the little Filipino lady was tough and unmoving, $6 dollars ma'am. She said I could reverse ??? All the way back up the ramp to park again and go back to get my validation cleared up at my office, I am not that good a driver, so I paid the extra parking. I think it could use more telephone booth/quiet rooms in the main space. We used them at Volvo Group, and at European airports...they look like umbrellas over a standing cocktail table. You stand at the tiny table, just enough room for laptop or phone and tablet, and draw the felt screen closed behind you. It offers privacy for the person Inside without taking up much space. I will do an update review after a month and maybe upgrading my membership. read more

Which was good to find out, just not last minute on the day before my membership was to start, and with no notice until the day before the start of the agreed-upon membership and I showed up. Claimed they tried to call me but oddly enough I showed no phone call from them. The reason was valid -- another member who had the same business type --- BE SURE THERE IS NO ONE THERE WHO ALSO DOES THE SAME THING YOU DO -- even though when doing the initial interview they knew that but failed to say anything. The good news is I found out how unprofessional they are at the start rather than getting set up there and learning later. They put on a good front but I would rather discover the lack of professionalism earlier than later. read more

I had been reading up on the hub and just had not made the effort until I saw a free woman entrepreneurs networking event. There was parking available in the lot and it was free with validation. The front desk staff was friendly, informative and welcoming. The event was super well organized, came with lunch and turned out to be one of the better networking events Ive ever attended. I made some great contacts and got to see first hand the benefits of becoming a hub member. Great Job ladies! Im looking forward to the next opportunity to mix and mingle and the impact hub. OUH, Issa vibe! I love the co-working space in Impact Hub. It's nice, spacious, hip, and modern. It's perfect to conduct your presentations or workshops because they have so many accommodations for your needs. You can rent their private rooms or rent the bigger space if you need.They have printers, scanner/fax, free WiFi, cutters, and shredders- you name it it's there. They also have telephone booths if you need privacy. If you get hungry, they have a little kitchen where you can make your own coffee or warm up your food, but make sure you clean up after. Whole foods is also across the street so there's the plus for you. They have showers if you need to freshen up after a long day or if you finished working out. Not too sure about parking. I was dropped off here so I don't know what the parking situation is like or if they validate or not. read more

What initially drew me to Impact Hub was their location-- this, honestly, is probably the main motivation I had when looking for a new office space. It was conveniently located at Ward and there were ample options for free or cost effective parking. I decided to go with the private office space that was 72 sq ft and rented for a little over $640 a month (plus tax). I was okay with this price for a membership because it gave my company a designated small office space, and it had good internet, printing, misc amenities, and the location was great. While those features were nice, there were some things I didn't necessarily enjoy. I don't know if I would truly classify the space I rented as a "private office." The walls were actually not real walls, but pieced together with plastic type wall material so that way it could be easily rearranged or restructured. I totally understand why the office space is structured this way, but it gets pretty noisy (just with the amount of people walking around, doing work, having conversations... and also music playing, etc). It was really distracting, especially if I was trying to get a ton of work done. I would actually try to come either early in the morning or later at night, just to avoid the distractions/noise. I know that they have some units with full walls, but those all get booked up really fast. So just something to consider. (One side note: my office unit was L7. I would highly suggest not taking that unit if hearing other people talk on the phone is distracting to you. Our office neighbor who had the corner unit talks on the phone quite loudly on a pretty consistent basis. He also seems to be in a line of work that is not happy as he is regularly cursing, speaking negative, and getting upset. It was really distracting and uncomfortable) While the above elements were distracting, I could live with that. The one item that essentially motivated me to find a better office spot was the way their membership fee was set up. I completely get their reasonings for their different level of memberships and whatnot, but I feel really strongly that if someone is renting a "private office" space, that they should have the ability to have an employee of their company work in the office space without additional charges. It wasn't made clear to me before I began my plan with Impact Hub that I would be charged additionally for my employee to come to work. It wasn't as if I was having her work in the common space or anything like that, she was essentially coming into the private office space that I rented to conduct my business. I was really confused when I started seeing daily charges for my staff member coming in and it just caught me off guard. I had to clarify with the host several times on these charges and to get the full understanding of costs associated with having my employee work in the office. But still, I understand and respect that they can structure memberships however they want and that it also helps them track and measure how many people are in and use their facility. It would be really helpful if that could be better explained in the initial sales process so people can really understand. I think that's the main difference between a coworking environment and a true private office type scenario. Once I fully understood that in essence, it would be costing me a daily rate of $15 per day (on top of the rent/membership I was already paying) for my staff member to come to work, it was basically no different than paying for parking in Chinatown. When I began looking at it that way, the factors of the noise, angry neighbor, and what was really a very small office space without full privacy, began to become bigger issues and motivated me to look into other options. While the Impact Hub wasn't the right structure for what I was looking for in an office space, I do see the value it brings to the community, freelancers, and small businesses. I loved the location, and if they had a better structure for including employees in the office membership, i would definitely have been more inclined to stay. For example, with the office membership, you get $100 monthly credit towards conference room or space rentals for meetings, etc. I think I would have rather had that as an open credit to use towards daily passes for my employee to come to the office! (Just an idea) I think that Impact Hub does a lot of good for the community and I'd definitely support by attending the different events they host, but it just wasn't worth it for the price of the private office with the distractions and additional fees. I would recommend also evaluating your needs as a business and deciding whether a coworking environment is really what you need as it feels very different than an office type environment :) I'm appreciative of my time at Impact Hub and wish nothing but the best for them as they continue to grow. read more

All you stylish secret agents/entrepreneurs --- these are your people !! James Bond, Agent 99, and Nancy Drew will all be co-working here. Impact Hub is bypassing the local ISPs and connecting directly to fiber, something about backbone nodes, Level (3), fastest internet in the state, yada yada, and some kind of super sophisticated WiFi with individual passwords so everybody else who's co-working can't access your traffic like they might be able to with a shared wifi login. That was my non-techie take-away. Anyway, it's going to be the most fabulous and secure internet you could possibly hope to have in a co-working space. ProtoHub has now graduated to full Impact Hub status ( http://www.impacthub.net ) and has moved into their new permanent space on Queen Street. They're still building it out inside, and rates are discounted during the build-out period. It's already pretty great ---and it's going to be really fantastic. I'm not easily pleased. I'm from New Jersey. I see the worst in everything. I read some bad reviews and almost decided to forget about this place. But, this place is awesome. Really, coming from me this is the highest compliment. I don't believe in anything!! This is really an inspiring place and I haven't really met anyone. Just the overall atmosphere is great. I kinda have mixed feelings. I get the idea. All of the problems of starting a business are magnified with all the liability that is a huge hurdle to any new start up business. The location is different- it is in kakaako so there are the resources of bad parking, food trucks, other start-ups and tons of construction going on in the near-bys all around. Good ideas- it is space that is useful. There are desks and chairs and other meeting room areas. There is wifi and a printer. There are skype rooms. There is a cool vibe for the space. There are large and I mean large bathrooms. People are super friendly. Welcoming atmosphere to co-space with and really interested in what others projects are and to see if they could help other members. Cons: there are a few. Foremost- you have to climb three flights of stairs to get up to the level that it is on up above the old Alu Like building. No open PCs or laptops - you have to bring your own. It's not free- the cost is nominal but the cost is progressive based on use but you know it up front so no surprises. Some nights are already booked- so you would have to juggle different businesses already set up time frames- if you would only need a desk for yourself - you are good to go but if you plan to use specific time - it may be time to get a whole independent space to them-self. They have planned Thursday pau hana, I hope to be able visit during that. I have seen a film at the space, and taken a tour during the day to see how quiet or loud it is during the day but meeting more people seems like a fun idea. There are a few things that I wish it also had- and I know as soon as I say this outloud someone will think and say - "go ahead and write a winning grant to get those things there!" Yes- I know if you want something fix it- it seems that the folks at Protohub really do just that- they get the things they think they need and they do it. read more

This place is my new JAM! Since moving back to Hawaii in 2012, I've been very big on co-working spaces..especially since I work on several different projects at one time. Being surrounded by other folks cranking away on projects that they are passionate about really push me to keep going. Protohub is big, clean, well staffed and all around awesome. One of my fave things about this place is the fact that they have several different types of work spaces for every type of person in whatever vibe they are in. Whether you wanna plug in at your own desk and put your headphones on or wanna work at a big community table and meet new folks or kick your shoes off an sit on a low to the floor platform with a bunch of comfy pillows...Protohub has got your covered. Protohub also has an amazing selection of private rooms that you can rent. Everything from a private board room to a massage therapy room! They also feature lots of fun events weekly like: Sexy Salad Wednesdays during lunch, a wordpress class taught by WP genius John LeBlanc, Hip-Hop classes with pro dancer Cara Horibe or Improv Classes for Business Folks taught by...me;) Come on...I had to mention it. They run on a membership which is a really good deal if you compare it to paying rent and bills on your own office space. Members also get a special discount on rooms and certain events. In the Spring of 2018 I was searching for part time office space. I was expecting to close my full time office and set up a less expensive temporary workspace. My criteria were: close to my residence; accessible by bus/bicycle; people networking available. I wasn't planning on starting a new business, so incubator and startup advice were not on my list. By searching the internet I found a web site (https://www.coworker.com/united-states/hawaii/honolulu) that lists coworking spaces around Oahu. Of the ten on the list Kouwork, Impact Hub, Manoa Innovation Center (no longer listed) and Hawaii Cube looked the most suitable. The other locations listed on coworker.com sounded more like 1) small office space with no networking opportunity or 2) incubators. I visited Kouwork , which seemed very nice, but parking looked like a problem. I happened to be shopping one day at Whole Foods at Ward Center and noticed the Impact Hub sign across the street, so I asked for a tour. The space was huge and the location very good. Basic plans are 9-5 M-F. The Unlimited Plan provides 24/7 access. where they give you a physical key and iPhone app for after hour access. They offer private desks and walled-in private spaces, otherwise it's open seating. I chose for the open seating Unlimited plan which at the time was $225. The only extra I purchased was a locker for $10/mo. I mentioned that parking had been a concern. Impact Hub has paid parking on site for $0.50/hour. Ala Moana beach park is two blocks away where free parking can sometimes be found. There are three bus stops nearby. There is a Biki bike station directly across the street. As it has turned out I take bus or bicycle most days so I hardly think about parking. There is a variety of seating and working setups. You can sit at a counter with a view of Ward Center, use a motorized sit/stand desk, or be casual on a couch. There is always space available. There are of electrical outlets within reach of almost every seat (not in the kitchen), many with USB plugs. There is a large kitchen space with a conference size table that sits 10. The kitchen has a fridge, dishwasher, coffee maker and dispensers for cold kombucha coffee and beer. I like to visit the buffet line at Whole Food and enjoy my meal in the Hub kitchen. The have meeting spaces large and small. They recently upgraded their two printers to color Ricoh 6000 printer/scanners. The machines are fax capable but they're not connected to an outgoing telephone line. I usually email my documents so lack of faxing for me is not a concern. The internet works fine. At https://www.speedtest.net I get 73 Mbps upload and 18 Mbps download. The front desk is staffed by a receptionist 9-5 M-F. One of the Hub owners or hosts is usually around. They are always approachable and helpful. I attended some weekly Wednesday lunches and had a chance to meet people and introduce myself. Lots of cool people doing inspiring things, and everyone was super welcoming with lots o' aloha. I don't think I can say enough good things about impact Hub. I had the lucky opportunity to be selected as an artist in Residence and left a mural in exchange for a membership, an exhibition and a studio space. Impact Hub is literally a hub that makes an impact! There are so many creative, thoughtful, hard working and kind individuals in this space and everyone enjoys working with each other while at the same time being respectful enough to give each other their own work space when needed. The staff has been nothing but giving and genuine with me. As for the workspace, is very roomy, with very fast Wi-Fi, and even a little sleeping cook corner. There are also showers, a large kitchen space with coffee and kombucha on tap as well as even beer sometimes! Oh and there's a surfboard rack to! This place is rad, in other words. If you're thinking about getting a membership here, don't think anymore and just join the family! read more

i wish i could give this place zero stars. the worst experience i've ever had at a office co share. the manager was a d**k and unhelpful. their business model is flawed. none of the employees know what they are doing and no one seems to be on the same page. i've worked out of several co shares over the last 5 years, including WeWork - and this is BY FAR the worst one. they sell a 10 day package for $95, however recently just changed that price to $150. the first worker told me they raised their prices "slightly" recently. i hardly call 57% a "slight" raise. then then as i was about to purchase the 10 day package (today is April 19th), i realized that it would expire on the first of the month. and they limit your office hours to mon-fri (9am-5pm). so when you do the math - they would of charged me for $150, yet I would of only had 8 days max until the first of the month. and because they don't give you a calendar month to fulfill those 10 days, you end up losing out on the balance of the days. this has to be the most weirdest business model i've ever seen. and to make matters worse, i brought this up to the manager who didn't see my perspective, then he told me that he thought i wasn't a good fit for the space and basically asked me to leave. all because i couldn't believe how the pricing structure works. they force you into buying a more premium package, 2 days for $35 then add each day after that as an a la carte purchase. i really wanted to like this place because of the location, but the very reasons why hawaii is ranked worse in business and economics out of every state in the US, is the same reason why this company will fail - it's run by a bunch of morons who don't ask the right questions and don't surround themselves with people smarter than they are. read more
